Hi,
Hope this is in the correct thread. In June 2012 I wrote off my PPI claim for a loan I took out with Lloyds. I took out the loan in 2005 but it was active untilNov 2008. They wrote back to state that I did not have PPI onthis loan. I did not have a copy of the loan agreement and thought that I must have got the loans confused as I had taken one out a short time previously. I had no loan agreeement for the 2005 loan. However, apparently, the other loan had no PPI on it either.
I distinctly recall being ut under some pressure by the person on the phone when I took out the loan so am left somewhat confused. As I attempted to claim almost a year ago, is it too late to wrtie and request a copy of the loan agreement so I can prove that they are mistaken ??
Thanks Joy0 -
She's better off not leaving it half a year before following up any complaint.ms_night_ryder wrote: »she sent a letter last year to Halifax but has not had a reply, is she better off calling?0 -
Well, you can certainly complain only once. However, you could send a Subject Access Request (SAR) letter to the bank which should net you all they still have on file for you and set your mind at rest one way or the other. Credit agreements are not available for closed accounts, so no point asking for that.whatshappening03 wrote: ». If you find evidence that there you paid PPI despite the Bank telling you otherwise then you can ask the Bank to re-open your complaint-but you'll still need valid complaint reasons.0 -

Obviously not, but that's not really helpful is it? Doesn't answer my question at all.Lose 28lb 3/28lb

I was contacted yesterday by Rapid Legal Services about my PPI.
Basically, should they be trusted?0 -
Thanks for that, it seems they take a big cut - 25%+VAT.
I was hoping for some input from somebody who has specifically dealt with this company. Or similar.0
