Do you feel I just have to sit it out? I know your answer is probably going to be yes, but just needed a rant!!!!
Sit it out and have a rant, nothing wrong with that. Have you given them a call? Might make you feel better however, the answer you will get is that it has been assigned to a member of the team and they will be in touch shortly.
Remember that every penny is worth it and technically the longer they take won't they have to pay you more interest? :rotfl:Just a thought. HAHAHA

  • Hi, this is my first post. I have been told by Marks and Spencer's that I had ppi on my m & s card and I cancelled the ppi in 2005. It was already ticked on my form when I was approached in store to take out a card. Even although my M & S card is still active and they acknowledge i had ppi, they are saying they need proof as they have no records older tan 6 years. Where should I go with this. I did not even realise this was on my account until I cancelled it....years later.

    Thanks

    P:(

Thank you to the people that have helped with advice so far. Looking to finalise a claim to Barclays this weekend and wondered if someone could help with the following:

    1. I've only got the Account No & sort code for the loan, rather than the policy number. Is this going to be a problem?
    2. Which address is the best for writing to Barclays? I notice a few have been given (Leicester, Central London etc). Is a certain one better for a certain task (ie one for requesting loan details and another for PPI reclaims?)

    Thanks
    :)

Hi Polly my understanding is that if it's an active account they already have the proof at hand, you should'nt have to prove anything, this is only for a closed account where they might have disposed of the information.
