You do not need the agreement, with this being a Credit card it is possible that PPI will not show on there anyway as it is sometimes put on later, do as moneyineptitude said and put the claim in you only need reasons and the card number.0 -
I am still waiting payment of an agreed PPI Claim with Lloyds TSB Bank and despite several letters to them I have not even received a response. What action would you recommend please ?0

Blackhorse replied to my ppi complaint saying that as the agreement ended so long ago the docs are in their archives and without an agreement number they cannot review my complaint.
I do not have the agreement number anymore. Would sending a SAR mean they HAVE to get them out the archives even if i cannot provide the agreement number?
They can only retrieve them if they can find them from the info you provide, try putting as much info as you can to help them.0 -

Hi
How long have you been waiting?
If a month have gone by, get your local MP to chase this up on your behalf, it may help.
Good luck.
Well done on your success.:beer:The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
Hi,
I've been looking through policies, and got myself a bit confused. When taking out an endowment policy, we also took out life insurance, and said no to payment protection on the endowment itself.
My confusion is that looking through the life insurance policy there is a heading called 'premium protection' as well as the 'life assured' and 'critical illness' ones. Is payment protection a standard part of all life insurance policies or is it optional, because I certainly don't remember that part of the discussion.
Thank you!0 -
I took out a loan with Barclays in 2008 and agreed the ppi as I was told if I didn't claim in 5 years ALL the money I paid for the inusrance would be refunded. They told me I would pay £5,500 which I will be refunded in January 2013. I have recently looked at my paperwork and now find that I will have paid £4,000 interest! Do I have a case for reclaiming ALL the money I paid including interest as I was not advised about this Thanks0

I've just had an offer from Barclaycard, and would just like some advice.
I had the card for 20 years, but didn't use it much. I don't have the old statements to check if the amount they have offered me is correct, but it seems about right.
The offer comprises of refund of the payments I made for the PPI cover, refund of interest charged on PPI premiums, and 8% interest per annum.
Should I accept, does this sound fair?0 -
Hi All.
I'm really sorry if this has already been asked or I have posted this on the wrong forum, but I just have a quick question regarding PPI's.
Am I getting PPI's confused with Life insurance policies? I took out a mortgage in 2002 and got convinced to take out an insurance policy that would pay out on death, if I couldn't work etc. I didn't realise at the time that I could choose who I used and went along with Norwich Union which was recommended by the estate agents. I'm sure they got paid for every policy that they recommended!
Can I claim anywhere that this was mis-sold?
Thank you all in advance for your help.0
