PPI Reclaiming Discussion Part 5

hi i need help a handling firm contacted me about my ppi and so i said yes (stupid i know) so i signed all the relivant forms and sent it back to them then they said you have to contact the fscs for a form and fill it in and send it off to the handling company which i did then the handling company sent me a form saying that the letter of authority was due to be expired please sign and return so they could carry on well i never did thought well there doing nothing i had to do it all then the fscs sent my form back saying that they need proof it was me so sent relivant documents off and then was well pleased to get £1597 3 weeks ago then today had a letter from the handling company saying they want £639 pound for there services( what services) what can i do do i have to pay them or not the money is spent i do not have the money now and they have never contacted me about anything HELP NEED ADVICE

Hi nobby sorry to be the bearer of bad tidings mate but if you signed a contract you are going to have to pay them, if you have a complaint about what they did or lack of, get in touch with the ministry of justice see link.

looking for some help on an address, i have to send a subject accsess report to the halifax but cant get an address to send it to please help if you can.

Hi...I claimed PPI through another firm...Burnell Franklin...they got me some money but took 40%...is there anyway I can claim some of this back....is it worth contacting Ombundsman...or is 40% fair...

ohh yeah...another thing...when EGG were EGG they refused my PPI claim...now that EGG are Barclaycard should I try again...Cheeky but ya never know...

Hi as i said to nobbie i'm afraid if you signed a contract with them you won't be able to do anything about it, is the 40% what you agreed to? remember to take vat into account, don't ever use a cmc you can do it yourself and keep every penny.

Why not, since the judicial review things have changed somewhat, were you declined pre april 2011.

My son has received all the statements and calculated the amount paid, which he wants to reclaim.

What does he now need to do, is there a template?
