Tanker, it is likely that boomerang will have been sent the letter so they will be aware of the offer. they usually tell you if the offer is correct and then tell you if you should accept of decline and then they will issue you with an invoice
Tesco have notified money boomerang, so will have to pay the fees unfortunately! Still a least I've got something.0 -
Hi guys,
Just come off the phone from Lloyds and Blackhorse.
I was told by Tracey from Blackhorse that their system was showing I had spoken to Ash on the 3rd April about 4 complaints for ppi miss sell.
She also confirmed that Ash had noted that I had sent forms to BX1 1LT.
She asked if I could hold the line whilst she checked to see if the forms had been sent on the them. She told me they hadn't and it was not really up to Lloyds to send them on and they had probably gone to be shredded as they had been sent in error to the wrong building.
I have been asked to send new forms to the Cardiff office, FAO Customer complains.
So I will send new forms tommorow(recorded signed for of course.):(:(0 -
Good afternoon,
I am hoping for some advice from you all regarding my Credit Card PPI claim (I have already posted on here briefly about my case).
After other successful PPI claims I decided to pursue a claim on my Credit Card I currently hold. My bank came back to me after a few days saying that my claim was upheld by them yet as there was no proof of the policy and how much was paid as it was over 6 years ago an offer could not be made. After being advised both by the bank and from feedback on here I sent a SAR request off to obtain any details prior to the 6 year cut off period.
Yesterday I spoke to the people responsible for the SAR request and they informed me that they could find nothing beyond the 6 years. They, along with somebody on here advised that I should go back to my bank and ask if they would consider a goodwill offer to mark the case as resolved, my argument being that they have admitted I was mis-sold the policy therefore I should be due some redress from them. So I spoke with my bank today and the person I spoke to has asked their senior manager to consider a goodwill offer but they are not willing to offer me anything.
It is my understanding that if I refer this to the financial ombudsman that the bank will incur a charge for a case being opened (of which I informed the person on the phone). I asked them if after taking this into consideration would it not be prudent to offer me a nominal amount. I put it to them that it may very well be an offer more than what I am owed or less than what I am owed, we would never know. However, it would be an offer to close the case, a case in which the bank have admitted they are wrong. The bank said to me that they thought the ombudsman would side with them if the proof isn’t there, but I have been advised that as the bank have admitted liability and have upheld my case then I should be paid something.
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.0 -

Hi, I wonder if someone could tell me if I can reclaim Payment Protection on my mortgage. I moved my mortgage to C&G in 2002 and have been paying about £10.50 per month for the last 10 years. This was something I hadn't asked for but was added on to my mortgage. If anyone could tell me it would be very much appreciated. Thank you, Regards, Stuart.0

Hi all,
I posted a complaint letter to Barclaycard on 11.04.12 asking them to investigate my PPI Mis-sell issue. Today I have received the FOS standard questionnaire to complete and return. They promise to reply as soon as possible but no later than 11.06.12. I'll keep you posted how it goes. This card was opened in 2002 and has been paid off and in credit by £20 for over 6 months.
Hopefully I'll hear something from the other 3 companies I sent letters to the same day.
NeetsWhy do Bee's have sticky hair??? Because they use Honeycomb... :rotfl:

I'm so glad I plucked up the courage to phone and ask how my complaint was going.
They spoke to me very nicely and at least Ash had logged my complaint like he said he would:)
I think they probably had got the forms but hey we will never know.
They will certainly have them this time around:cool::cool: and to the correct address.:D0
