PPI Reclaiming Discussion Part 5

Sorry for the confusion! I didnt think the PM had been sent hence why I posted it on the forum.
Based on your guess Moneyineptitude it looked like I did OK, I got £1050 back. Breakdown as follows:
PPI: £808
Interest: £413.51
Rebate paid/due upon compensation: -£56.56
FSCS level of cover adjustment: -£116.50
I think I was getting confused and thought the interest back would be alot more, but I'm just happy to get something back from the riduculous loan i stupidly took out!
Thanks again for your help with this, I'm now trying to sort out PPI claims for friends and family and I hope they feel same appreciation to me as I do to you guys:D Did you get my reply to the PM?.

I'm still waiting for decision from Co-operative Bank but the suspense is driving me up the wall but still within 8 weeks at present. I keep thinking my mis-sold reasons are valid - good occupational sick pay & pre-existing medical conditions but can't help thinking I've made a mistake on the questionnaire stating I was unsure if it was front loaded when I'm 99% certain it was. I keep daydreaming about how much I would receive & what I'd do with the money.
To be honest £3500 would pay off my credit card which is number 1 priority. Loans were a consolidation chain from 1996 - 2006 but I've no paperwork & they are old so perhaps I need to prepare myself for a rejection. Just need to be patient for a few more weeks.0 -

Hi there
Fingers crossed for you.
Easier said than done I know, try not to worry, hopefully all will be fine, if not you can still take it further, with you worried that you may have missed something, you probably covered it all (you do appear to have good reasons to reclaim), but sometimes they give an opportunity to write further.
It may not come to that though and with a bit of luck you will receive some good news in the post soon.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -

As our Di says try not too worry, you have good grounds here for your reclaims, if they rejected the fos would take this on and certainly uphold the loans as before 2007 everything was front loaded, these are wins.0 -

Thanks Di & Cappo for the confidence boost. I'll definately post the outcome when received for the benefit of everyone else. I don't think I would have bothered if it hadn't been for this thread.0

I tried not to obsess about it and distracted myself by trying to help others on here.
I did have paperwork for my loans, but otherwise the front-loaded consolidation chain and significant overlap of cover I had were exactly the same as in your case. The age of your loans does present an obstacle, I won't lie, but your other reasons are so strong you may get lucky.
All the best, we're all rooting for you!;)0
