they have asked for a copy of agreement but im not sending it, i will supply if i have to go to FOS,
I would send them a copy of the agreement, due to the year this loan was taken out they will not know if PPi was on there, they will not know this info so help them, this can only help you too as they can see the PPI and if they decide to uphold then they know what redress to give.

If you do not send a copy of this agreement and you take this to FOS you will join a long waiting list as FOS will ask you for a copy of this agreement for the bank anyway, you will be wasting time when you could give them the copy and see if they redress.

Withholding from them a copy of the agreement will only result in unnecessary delay.
Get the bloody thing copied and send it (together with a completed FOS questionnaire) to HSBC immediately.

Do you really want to wait another year for any redress???

:p:p:p:p:p:p OOOOH :D at least i said it in a nice way :rotfl:

i rang HSBC and told them id found agreement and hey bingo new complaint, apologies, and expect a reply in 8 weeks!

If you sent a copy of this agreement in, the claim could well be paid up by the 8 weeks and not be sat with FOS for another year.

Not much point in trying to score points with faceless Multi-Nationals. You'd just be cutting off your nose to spite your face!

Couldn't help it. I wanted to make certain the poster concerned fully appreciated the gravity of the action she claimed she was going to take.
    All good now...;)

I'm have just completed the questionnaire and I have the paperwork required to claim for mis-sold PPI by Welcome Finance in 2006.

I think I have put enough information on the questionnaire, just a few sentences stating the facts.
I would of received Statutory sick pay, but have health insurance. Also how I was told that I wouldn't be able to continue my car purchase without taking out the PPI.

Can someone confirm the address I need to send it to please, is it...

    Welcome Financial Services Ltd,
    Ruddington Fields Business Park,
    Mere Way,
    Ruddington,
    Nottingham,

    Thank-you in advance.
Great website, wouldn't be any the wiser if it wasn't for this site. :T
    Awaiting first win!! :(
  • Hi,

    This is my first post to this site and I am wanting some help please. I am in the process of successfully reclaiming my husbands misclaimed ppi on credit card and loan, but what I want help with is;

We took out our mortgage with the help of a financial advisor 12 years ago who advised us to get payment protection along side our mortgage. Our mortgage is with nationwide but ppi was with a company called Wessex who do I claim against for miselling as I am a public section worker and would not need it ?

Any help would be gratefully received.

    Hello there

So sorry we were not here any earlier.

Welcome Finance are now being dealt with by the Financial compensation scheme (FSCS) as the business are in default, so yours should be ok to be dealt with by them as well, because they were regulated at the time it was taken out.
The FSCS like the FOS are only able to take on cases if the business was regulated as from 14th Jan 2005 FSA.

What I would do now is contact the FSCS, they will arrange to send you a claim form in the post. (Please be aware, this may take 2 maybe 3 weeks, because they tend to send out in batches).
Enclose copies of the agreement and/or any paperwork you have, so if your unable to provide the broker/WF paperwork, the lender's paperwork will be also sufficient, as they will be aware of the relationhip from the broker to the lender.

More details below and contact details, good luck.

    http://www.fscs.org.uk/what-we-cover/questions-and-answers/qas-for-welcome-financial-hn0qripj/#Why_has_the_firm_been_declared_in_default_

    http://www.fscs.org.uk/contact-us/

I would also like to add, that I assume this ppi was front loaded onto the loan, as one big monthly payment with interest, the FSCS uphold many cases in this situation, because they are poor policies basically only protecting you for about 5 of those years. And you will still be paying for the PPI for the life of the loan.
So if this applies to you, do also apply this to your complaint.
