Get a cctv camera fixed to the front of your house and stick 'neighbourhood watch' stickers in your windows. That will see them moved on quicker than !!!!!! off a stick. If I have seen further, it is by standing on the shoulders of giants ~ Isaac Newton0

Report it to the police, crimestoppers and your local housing office.
Not all police forces inform the council.
If you are really worried about remaining anonymous use a public phone box to make the calls. You do not have to give your name!
Keep quiet and don't mention it to friends/family.I'm not that way reclined
Jewelry? Seriously? Sheldon you are the most shallow, self-centered person I have ever met. Do you really think that another transparently-manipu... OH, IT'S A TIARA! A tiara; I have a tiara! Put it on me! Put it on me! Put it on me! Put it on me! Put it on me! Put it on me! Put it on me!0 -
i would and have when i lived in a flat with them upstairs i was 19 and lived there on my own with them banging on my door at all times of day and night it took a while for things to happen but they were eventually raided and moved off to prison
i have also had another neighbour who did a `little` dealing well we thought it was a little until there house burnt down and we discovered they had been growing the stuff in the loft, house totally gutted and damage to houses on either side street is very quiet now though0 -
Yes I would and yes I have. I reported my brother a few years ago. He knows I did, all his scummy mates know it was me and I don't care. He was bringing trouble to my doorstep so as soon as I had proof I reported it, he spent 18 months inside. Unfortunately it didn't change a thing as I am almost certain he is back to it and yes I have reported him again.
It is horrible to live in that kind of area where you are scared to do the right thing but these people need to be shown that they are not above the law.0 -
OP, I don't wish to appear paranoid; however you have posted quite a lot of information in your posts. Also in your profile, it lists your current location (it may be prudent to remove that information).0

Hi..o i sympathise..been there and done that..a few years where i live ago a long lost son turned up and moved in with his mother, sister and step-dad..all seemed fine to start with..then it started..people turning up all hours of the night and day..cars with music blaring out..some seriously dodgy looking dudes in trackys standing outside his house smoking and drinking..i daren't go past them..finally i had enough.. a drunk girl with a toddler in a pushchair, knocking ten bells of god knows what out of my door, asking for some weed..told her wrong house lovey he's up there on the right number **..so off she went tottering in high heels..
I wasn't the only one to call the police..nearly everybody did..it took the police 4 months to do anything at all...and when they raided his house ..he was arrested but home by lunchtime...they did get evicted finally 2 years ago..it has been bliss since..i would do it again in a second.
Just to say the neighbour he lived next door to had a good idea he used to go out and wash his car with a power washer and accidentally get them wet..clean his windows and sing his head off..for some reason they wouldn't stay..
ftmBe who you are, not what the world expects you to be..:smileyhea

When I first moved into my house, I didn't realise it was a such a scummy area. There was a drug dealer in the upper floor flat of the house opposite. They had CCTV so they could see up and down the road so the police couldn't surprise them.
It was grim. Taxis would show up, stop outside the house, carry on down the road, turn around (it's a cul de sac) and pick up their fare again after they've made the deal.
Their fares weren't exactly classy either. Jeepers, there were some 'orrible wrong'uns showing up. One Saturday, the taxis were almost queuing up very late into the night and early Sunday morning.
I wasn't the only resident to complain about them, though. They were denounced at residents' meetings, stout middle aged Asian women would complain loudly to any PCSO or police officer who showed their faces down our street and I wasn't the only one to complain to Crimestoppers.
It took weeks for the dealer to be shifted. The official tenant was a woman the authorities considered 'vulnerable' and it took weeks of negotiating with the council, social services, the landlord and the police to get her evicted. That was a fun day.
If 'your' dealer is as brazen as mine was, then the whole neighbourhood is probably bending someone's ear somwhere. If the police do stop the dealer's activities, you won't be his only 'obvious' suspect. Don't know what I'm doing, but doing it anyway... :huh:0 -
Had the same problem in my street - er - and I was the Chair of the Nieghbourhood watch at the time.............Reported this guy many times and also the two other small time dealers (as far as I was concerned they could deal as much weed as they liked - but this guy dealt in the hard stuff! consequently we had all sorts of smackheads and other undesirables around (my OH was actually stopped by a guy who wanted to know where the 'Snow dealer lived'! and he told him.
there were a few unsuccessful raids until I worked out these were always preceeded by a certain police officer 'visiting' - I managed to get his number and told my contact in the police station.
lo and behold the next 'raid' was very successful! dealer got sent down for some months and the tenancy changed hands to a very nice young family!
It did take quite some time - nearly a year - but it did happen and the street became a lot nicer to live in.0 -
If the drug dealer was my child then I would be driving them to the police station.
I would rather do that then there illegal activites bring trouble to my door or or find police on my door telling me my child has been murdered. It's better to regret something I did do than to regret something that I didn’t. :EasterBun0
