Just to add, the police will probably do a surviellance operation which could last for a couple of weeks, they may ask to use your home if you have good enough vantage points, so I'd tidy round if I were you lol!! Please bear in mind that drug dealing often goes hand in hand with other nasty things like knives and guns, the use of children as young as 8 or 9 to do runs, gang involvement, which in turn leads to initiation of young people, boys having to injure other boys or carry out violent crime against members of the public, and girls being gang raped. None of this can happen without the fuel which is the money making side, the drugs, the robbery, the prostitution- male and female, and the burglary etc. etc. Even if this bloke takes his kids to Sunday School every week and they are privately educated, somewhere along the line he and his actions and the actions of all those who buy from him are linked inextricably. Do the right thing, do it today.0

Yes I would using Crimestoppers. Your DD is witnessing this, this in itself is surely enough reason to report them.0

In your circumstances, Kaz, I think I would inform Crimestoppers, but at the same time, I would speak to my local MP, explaining my concerns about the safety/wellbeing of me and my child, and getting him/her to add some "clout" to possible witness protection.0

The police probably already know about him. They can take quite a long time to build up the cases and then they will do an early morning swoop on all of those involved at the same time.0

Yes I would report him - find out which house he lives in and try and do a search for his name online, report anonimously, through crimestoppers.
I would hate this to happen outside my house.
Good luck. I personally wouldn't confront him as I would be scared of the backlash to me and my daughter, my house and property.0 -

and thats how crime carries on because people are scared.:footie:0 -
I've reported a drug dealer in my area a couple of times but absolutely nothing has happened. He's still dealing his drugs and flashing his cash0

I get the impression this man thinks he is invincible. There he is in a suburban street, dealing drugs with all manner of unsavoury types, outside your house. Does he not think that someone will see what he is up to and question it? In most streets there will be some neighbours at home during the day, such as sahm, night shift workers and the retired, noticing his activities.
It seems to me that as a single mum with young kids to care for, you are understandably scared of possible repercussions, if you were to report him. I actually think if the police took this seriously and looked into what was happening you would be making yourself safer.
My reason for thinking this is that you are already vulnerable, and suffering the effects of what is going on, bang outside your front door. This man is attracting all kinds of people to your area. People who have a drug habit to support and are possibly into crime to fund it. They would notice when you are there and when you are out. I wouldn't be a bit surprised if one of them lifted your keys and took your car. Who knows what they will do next!
I would contact the police again and ask for help. What an awful position to be in OP.If I have seen further, it is by standing on the shoulders of giants ~ Isaac Newton0 -
I still think you need to report it, but I'm also trying to think up a surreptitious way you could release some really awful stinkbombs outside to make them move on. I know ideally it needs to be stopped altogether but for you personally you just need them to go elsewhere. Some really stinky stinkbombs might do it if there was a way to set them off without them realising who it was...Cash not ash from January 2nd 2011: £2565.:j
