Do it anonymous. They will watch him like a hawk. Don't give your name, you may be asked to testify in court.

    Go for it.

Hi, I would call crime stoppers if you want it to be completely anonymous, they will make sure the info gets passed on to the right people. OR call the local police and ask to be put through to CID or the intelligence department.
If you choose to report it don't be disheartened when nothing happens immediately as the police have to gain enough reliable 'intelligence' in order to get a warrant to search the place, you never know though your info may be just what they need.

No but ive confronted one and i gave him a right earbashing as well. I shudder to think what would have happened if he'd turned on me.

Thinking about it now i must have been mad.

They're just annoying her at the moment, I think she means if they find out or assume it's her who has reported them and put her windows through/threaten her/her child etc.

ETA : Didn't think of Crimestoppers and cross posted with the oters who suggested it, sorry :)

Absolutely shellsuit. Its not the nicest of areas and I just dont even want them suspecting its me thats reported them.
I would love to move away from here but unfortunately I have subsidence (claim going through) which apparently will take a couple of years to sort out so i cant sell yet :(
I genuinely dont care what people do, its their lives, but I'm sick of it being on my doorstep, literally.

I'm not sure I would tbh. I'd like to say yes, but a family member of mine had a similar experience a few years ago and the dealer (who lived next door) made her life hell for 18 months. She's a single parent too and her child was a toddler at the time.

He was eventually sent to prison and the house was sold (it was privately owned) but it has put me off reporting things.

That said, I'm sure there are many more cases where speaking to the police or crimestoppers has had a positive result. I'd like to think that I'd still try and do something about it, but I think my faith in the authorities has been a bit shaken.

There is a drug dealer living round the corner from me, moved here about year ago, who has decided that the very best place 'for him' to do his dealings is outside my house!

Now my problem is I am a single mum and live here alone with my DD and the last thing I need is any trouble. He has seen me watching him and the 'people' in the cars have seen me watch them.

I did also stop and have a chat with some community police but they just said all I could do was call the police when I saw the cars outside.

Depending on what reputation he had, I would approach him and say 'look I don't give a !!!!!! what you're doing, I just don't want you doing it outside my house' Can you stand somewhere else and I'll mind my own business. If you don't then I'm calling the Police every time I see you here. Of course if he had a rep for being rough then I'd not do that and I'd phone the Police continually instead.

I would make such a bloody fuss that he would either move on elsewhere for peace or the Police finally got off their backsides and did something.

There is no way I'd have druggies turning up outside my home especially with my kids there.

    I'm angry for you.

    Been in the same situation.

Report the guy to either Crimestoppers or give your local station a call.

Tell them the guy's address, the location of where the drugs are passed over - outside your house - and most importantly tell them that there are children in his house.

Don't call the Housing Office as they will be informed by the Police once they start an investigation - the Housing Office can't do anything until the Police start to act.

Wait for a couple of weeks and if nothing seems to have changed, ring them again.

It may be that they are surveillancing his house to gather evidence, but it's always good to keep prodding them to pay a visit.

If it still seems as though nothing is happening and this guy is still blatantly dealing, then give your local MP's office a call and have a chat.

MP's by law have to act on our behalf and it is amazing what can happen when they get involved. ;)

NEVER engage with those outside your house, try not to curtain-twitch while they are there and DON'T tell anyone local what you have reported.

If this guy gets arrested and his mates have seen you staring at them, they will put 2 and 2 together.
