A busy few days in the House of Hinge, Missy Hinge had a interesting hospital appointment..... amazing what weight that private report had!! all requested referals done with no arguements! :rotfl:Makes a change!!

Fat club not so good, I havent been for a few weeks and have eaten everything in sight  a gain as expected but I am sure it will come off soon!
Eon have refunded all our credit balance as it is our year end anniversary which will be nice, I will treat the car to some clean oil and spark plugs and pay off the cheap holiday we have booked for next year. I intend to keep the rest as a float in my account as cash flow seems to be an issue with some weekly, fornightly, 4weekly and monthly payments all coming in dribs and drabs. We have a very very skint week and a week we feel like royaltythis could help balance it out :T
I am busy knitting at the moment, I am on a mission to make the majority of our presents for xmas this yeartime is running out though and it's only September :rotfl:

Morning Mrs H
Hope you don't mind me jumping in here but thought you might be interested in a facility on our website to give you more control over your monthly payments. It's the 'Direct Debit Manager.'
If you've signed up to our website, you can use this to alter your payments to suit changing circumstances.
Provided the account is billed up to the latest meter readings, you can change the payments by up to 20 per cent up or down. Up to 5 per cent up or down without readings.
Before confirming the new amount, we'll let you know by how much we anticipate the account will be in credit/debit if the change is put through but usage doesn't alter accordingly.
Just to confirm, at the annual review we'll automatically refund all credit balances over a fiver.
Well done on the lower bill. We might be able to help you save a bit more. Have a look at the Saving Energy Toolkit on our website. Some good tips on there to help save money by saving energy.
This includes a quick quiz and some stuff about energy vampires. It's a bit of fun and might help.
Hope this is of interest Mrs H and good luck with the knitting.

I have realised that we can not carry on in the house of Hinge like we have been doing. I have made myself in trying to keep everyone happy, meet all the appointments and hold down some form of employment to feel "socially" accepted. When my ssp runs out i will be handing in my notice at work. It isn't a decision i have taken lightly nor has it been easy but I know it is for the best.
just to say, a very hard decision I am sure, but a very brave one, I for one think you are doing the right thing......two thoughts, how long is your notice can you time it on your Fit Note so that you don't have to work your notice?
2. do you qualify for carers allowance.... Supported a Mum recently who was on this bit job hunting as son was now of working age? It recognised the who's caring role that you play
Sending hugs, if you would likely chat this through PM me.As a dear MSE friend says “keep plodding” or

Mrs Hinge you have to remember our households are not normal for example the nakedness and jumping or head rubbing my face and that's just Mr Stripes is kinda not the norm. It's mentally exhausting and you have be alert at those appointments and well prepared because meetings are few and far between. You have to be strict on yourself on how much to juggle.

We live a simple and frugal life now and surround ourselves with people and it worked, I became so much happier and focused on what I needed to do and prepared. I love finding bargains, doing surveys which really helps my pennies turn into pounds

Firstly sending hugs, I can remember Experiencing this so well. In a small community and a young age they have not learned about the social expectations of not saying things as equality policies now give support in the work place.
As I grew older, I tried to accept that either individuals understood, but just like being mean, and they are not worth being made upset. Or they have no idea and sitting down over a wagon wheel at break time, might make them think.
In saying that when emotions are running high, I learnt to visualise to take the sting out which in the Harry Potter films illustrated this very well Professor Lupin has a weird bog something in the cupboard. the lesson where and Neville Longbottom was afraid of professor Snape and when this weird monster came out of the cupboard as Snape Neville pictured him with his grandmother very large floppy vulture hat and her clothes on making him laugh equally I think Ron Weasley imagined a tap dancing spider it
I'm sure Miss Hinge can imagine these boys looking riduculous
Hugs to her and youAs a dear MSE friend says “keep plodding” or

 Hi Bm,
Mr Hinge claims CA for Superman, Missy Hinge doesn't get a high enough award in Dla to get carers, they awarded her the minimun they could to stop us going to tribunal. I have the forms read to send back as Missy Hinge has more support and assessment reports etc.... now then 15months ago when we first applied. I'm hoping she will qualify for MRC at least so I can get carers Allownce, I don't see why she wouldn't, (other then DLA are useless and the most unreasonable thing going!!) as she does require alot more care then a child of her own age.
Missy Hinge is usually ok with the horrid boys but I gather they launched a verbal attack over 4 days and the last day she lost it. Now sorted and the teacher got a flea in her ear about bullying, harrassment and discrimination! The Boys have left her alone since, strangley a freak accident to one of them gave them a diclocation and left them screaming. Missy Hinge helped and took pleasure in explaining that she goes through that 20-30 times a day and nasty boy now has a new found respect for her :rotfl:
Karma works in mysterious ways
£13 spent today on milk, juice and rabbit food, food shop to do tomorrow and budget looking good
Today I took Superman's Tv combo back to arrrrhgooooose! as it's not loading dvd's properly. They haven't any more in stock but refunded me in full. I've just found a newer model online, free delivery, quidco cashback and £20 cheaper :jNow to cope with bed time meltdown with no TV :rotfl:Living in a superhero induced haze :A:A
