    :j

Aldi shop today £54.99 :D i think there will be another £20 in asda then we are sorted for the week

I have realised that we can not carry on in the house of Hinge like we have been doing. I have made myself in trying to keep everyone happy, meet all the appointments and hold down some form of employment to feel "socially" accepted. When my ssp runs out i will be handing in my notice at work. It isn't a decision i have taken lightly nor has it been easy but I know it is for the best.

Mr Hinge must be finally understand that I am at breaking point and is starting to help out...... He must understand as he even let me buy aldi loo roll :rotfl::rotfl:

Mrs Hinge I'm back :j. Lots of hugs, I have been reading but not really had the time to type but now both kids are school at the same time today :j

Mrs Hinge you must do whatever feels right for you and not what society deems so. Everyone is different and everyone's situation differs too. You must be exhausted trying to do everything at once. Look after yourself no one else will and your family needs you to be strong, healthy and awake ;)

:eek::eek: Asda is mental and should be avoided at all costs. I spent a [STRIKE]small mortgage[/STRIKE] alittle over my £20 planned spend at £79.81 :o To be fair Master Hinge's BBQ about emptied the freezer of our YS bargains so I have refilled it :rotfl:

    4kg 5% fat mince
    24 posh sausages
    8 angus beef burgers 1/4lbers
2 lamb joints for sunday roasts
    2 whole chickens
    2 packs of bacon
big tray of flavoured belly pork strips
    2 packs of chicken thighs

    :T I also got:

2of the giant boxes of persil non-bio (only washing powder that doesn't upset Superman's skin) usually £12 YS down to £5 as the boxes are a bit battered :money:4 months worth of washing at least for us :D
96 pouches of the Hinge "fussy" cat posh cat food in gravy of course for £3 a box instead of £6..... one or two have leaked and the boxes are manky but a wipe over and moved them in to a old box ;)

The rest was Missy Hinge's gluten free snacks as the cupboard was bare and some stationary for her. I've found some chunky pens and hope they will help with her poorly hands as the last few days shes been coming home in tears at how much they hurt :( i've been having to cut up her food aged and help her get dressed and bits.

Mr Hinge is busy washing and hoovering out my car £15 saved on going to the handwash round the corner :money:

Mrs H...... who also bought Aldi ketchup as well as loo paper :rotfl::rotfl:

    Stripes your back:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

I had assumed you were busy preventing WW3 or entertaining the King. I had wondered if Mr Stripes had buried you under the patio...

And Thankyou, you are right I am exhausted and the last 3 months I have been off sick have made me realise that I am juggling everything but not really doing very well at any of it  and I found since I have been off I have handled things so much better with appointments and meetings and finally feel like I am making head way with getting the things done we need rather then coming out of appointments feeling defeated and a failure for blubbering!

So how have your holidays been?! did the King have a fantastic time? Is the listening program helping?! so many questions.... Tell me tell me tell me!!

I love it that you had it bang on....I was entertaining the King but I was burying Mr Stripes :rotfl: honestly Mr Stripes is alive and well although living in his man shed this Summer, he has been good and doing DIY.

Mrs Hinge you have to remember our households are not normal for example the nakedness and jumping or head rubbing my face and that's just Mr Stripes is kinda not the norm. It's mentally exhausting and you have be alert at those appointments and well prepared because meetings are few and far between. You have to be strict on yourself on how much to juggle.

I remember when The King was on the road to a diagnosis I was working full time and pregnant and there was speech and OT therapy, nursery, SEN, Outreach, I was exhausted. I felt insane like I was on the cliff edge. It was crazy! The lowest point I've ever been in and I knew to survive I had to make my life more simple. I reduced my hours and got rid of family and friends who thought I was a cr** parent because they did not want to accept the Kings condition.

We live a simple and frugal life now and surround ourselves with positive people and it worked, I became so much happier and focused on what I needed to do and prepared. I love finding bargains, doing surveys which really helps my pennies turn into pounds :D
