Mr Hinge delivered back Missy Hinge and master Hinge as although the invite had all 3 names on it seems only Superman's company was required :mad:

so I haven't had my quiet afternoon but one with 2 grumpy smalls..... we have had a cook off instead. The bird is roasting, the mountain of spuds are peeled and chopped (thanks Missy Hinge :D) and the veg today is from the freezer :rotfl:Missy Hinge peeled enough spuds for today's lunch, tomorrows wedges, superman's mans mash mountain x 3 and a few to pad out my bottom of the fridge soup :j <3 that thoughtful girlie millions!

The last of Mr M free veggies have turned in to 2 soups...... leek and potato and plain and simple veggie soup, 9 portions in all [STRIKE]we snarfed the rest [/STRIKE]after we sampled some  all in all it only cost us about 6p in stock cubes :money:

have a pear and bramble crumble for pudding :)

meals until pay day look like:

Monday Peppered beef grill with Hm wedges
Tuesday Left over chicken either curry or risotto/fried rice
Wednesday gammon steak, new potatoes and salad
Thursday Cajun chicken breast with piri piri roast potatoes
Friday Hm pizza, pasta and Garlic bread
    Saturday Chicken chow mein
    Sunday Roast Gammon dinner
Monday Toad in the hole, mash and veggies
Tuesday chicken curry, rice and bombay potatoes
Wednesday Spag bol (freezer special :rotfl:)
Thursday freezer dive for quick dinner
Friday chilli and jacket spuds (freezer special :rotfl:)
    Saturday mixed grill, wedges, peas
Sunday minted Lamb shoulder (plenty to make a lamb stew for another day :D)

not too shabby at all :j

apparently they were welcome to watch Superman and all the other children at bowling but not allowed to join in!!

I believe Thursday is free fruit and veggies again :j I will be going armed with a purse full of vouchers :rotfl: we got £45 worth last time and although we shared some with a neighbour we had plenty to last a good 8-10 days :T this is really helping my shopping challenge :rotfl:if I had to declare the free food prices I would be failing badly :o

  • Me too. With doing slimming world I spend a fortune on fruit and veg so I stock up when the voucher is on. Apart from that I like the boys to eat healthily anyway so the more fruit and veg in the fridge the better!

Still think the invite business is stupid Xx

Virtual hugs Mrs H, I hope that you find something to watch that will stimulate a dammed good blub and that it does the trick. Take care and make the most of the time without the family.:)

Mr Hinge has promised to do bedtime for the boys and then disappear to the gym, he has offered to set me up the whole twilight saga before he goes so I can swoon over the eye candy and blubber at the romance, he has even offered me a roll of his posh loo roll to wipe my tears and blow my nose on :rotfl:

The Sun newspaper and Morrisons are working together they are doing a voucher each week on a Thursday, last week it was a £5 of a £10 spent on meat and fish, they previous week and I believe this week is a £5 of fruit, veg and salad no minimum spent so effectively free! :money:

it has really helped our food budget this month :rotfl:

ooo interesting! May just have to buy it and snip out the voucher. Unfortunately the sun paper will then just promptly go in the recycle pile.
