A picnic in the park with scooters and bikes, pets corner and a game of hide and seek filled most of today and was Free!!

£17 refunded from returned items, £19.52 spent in Mr Aldi on fresh fruit, salad and veggies, milk, eggs, yoghurts and some snack treats for the smalls. Total spends £116.65/£350  The fruit bowl is over flowing and once a gain the fridge is full :rotfl:OCD and all about a empty fridge :o maybe that's an issue to deal with when I go to see a counselor:cool:.

Tomorrow we are heading to the Sealife center. Free admission with our merlin passes and with a picnic in tow should make for a cheap day out with maybe just parking to cover. (maybe free if they don't charge for blue badges)
Then it's chub club in the evening so will have £5 to pay.

Wednesday Mr Hinge has to go for his eyes tested and Thursday I need to try and get back in at the Drs so depending on the weather we may just head to local parks for a few hours on these days.

Sealife center was rather packed yesterday  luckily we can fast track with our passes and didn't have to stand in the huge around the block and across the road Que.... in the rain :T

No free parking unfortunately instead it was  expensive £5.00 for just 3 hours :o superman had collected all the stamps, got his medal and lost interest in everything else by then :rotfl:

Mr Hinge is starting to sound like a broken record  he is whinging about been hungry all day long. He eats like a family of gannets and I and the budget can not keep up! today after his whinging spree (- no less then 20 minutes after polishing of 2 bacon and egg cobs) I gave in and baked 12 cupcakes, 2 hug trays of flat jack and a 2lb loaf of banana bread. I have put him on rations! he has had hm made oven chips and 4 fish fingers for lunch and has chillie, rice and hm garlic naan breads for dinner..... does anyone else feel they are feeding a bottomless pit?!

Tonight is going to be a ironing night it seems :o the living room is looking like a laundrette, teamed with all the mess the smalls are making makes the House of Hinge look like a bombsite! why do I bother with cleaning?!!

Yawn  *rolls eyes* Yawn...... repeat a gazillion times.

Yesterday saw us using the saving pots to buy school shoes and trainers for master Hinge and Superman, 3 pairs for £90 for Clarks  and that was with £10 off :o it's a good job we budget for these monthly....... all three man Hinges went to the barbers spending budgeted savings..... Superman was an :Aand Master Hinge sat all by himself for the first time whilst they scalped him :D he is no longer a baby, my little man will be 3 in a few weeks

Our grocery spends sit at £123.63/£350 after a top up shop using our Tesco vouchers (£27 worth :D) we usually save these for days out but we have £100 in them already and there are only so many times we can visit the local places :rotfl: and mr Hinges whinging about the lack of meat in the house was making my ears bleed

Missy Hinge took charge and with the free fruit, veggies and salad we got on Thursday from Mr M she managed to plan us enough meals until Thursday for the pricey sum of £1.75 to pay :money:

    Yesterday we had Chicken stirfry
    today is spag bol
    Sunday is roast chicken
Monday chicken, mushroom risotto with corn on the cob
    Tuesday is hm pizza
Wednesday is chillie with jacket potaoes
Thursday is toad in the hole, carrot and swede, roasties and broccoli

We have enough fresh salad for lunches and I will make some more cobs in the morning, the store cupboard will be rather bare by Thursday so we need to plan how best to spend the rest of the budget to stock everything back up. I have seen Mr M are rumored to be doing another meat voucher in the paper next week for £5 of a £10 spent so will see what we can find and go from there! I predict it will be a trip to Mr Aldi to stock up on tins, cereal and dried bits.

I love how Missy Hinge is learning about budgeting :T

Mrs Hinge, I have been lurking on and off for a while:), you are one amazing lady, Missy Hinge is a star, and since I am almost certainly old enough to be mother to Mr Hinge, it is a good thing that I do not know him in person, otherwise he would have a very sore ear from the many clips around it that I would have administered:rotfl::rotfl:
