I love it that you had it bang on....I was entertaining the King but I was burying Mr Stripes :rotfl: honestly Mr Stripes is alive and well although living in his man shed this Summer, he has been good and doing DIY.

Mrs Hinge you have to remember our households are not normal for example the nakedness and jumping or head rubbing my face and that's just Mr Stripes is kinda not the norm. It's mentally exhausting and you have be alert at those appointments and well prepared because meetings are few and far between. You have to be strict on yourself on how much to juggle.

I remember when The King was on the road to a diagnosis I was working full time and pregnant and there was speech and OT therapy, nursery, SEN, Outreach, I was exhausted. I felt insane like I was on the cliff edge. It was crazy! The lowest point I've ever been in and I knew to survive I had to make my life more simple. I reduced my hours and got rid of family and friends who thought I was a cr** parent because they did not want to accept the Kings condition.

We live a simple and frugal life now and surround ourselves with positive people and it worked, I became so much happier and focused on what I needed to do and prepared. I love finding bargains, doing surveys which really helps my pennies turn into pounds :D

    Spot on Stripes :T

Mrs H, hopefully you know my opinion from our pm conversation, but I just wanted to reiterate that you are doing the right thing and you are awesome Xx

I've given Eon my meter readings and our bill for this quarter was £205 combined :T:T the cheapest we have had! with out warm home grant and our eye watering direct debit we are just shy of £500 in credit  So I have asked for some of it refunded and left £300 for winter.... they then recalculated my DD and wanted to increase it by £30odd quid :rotfl:I politely declined [STRIKE] told them to shove it [/STRIKE]

Today I have booked myself and Missy Hinge on a conference in the midlands for 2 days. it is organised by EDS Uk and they are holding a Zebra ball on the evening :D She is very excited and I must say so am I :T

So I am number crunching I am sure you will be able to hear my cogs grinding from there!!

Superman good a certificate in assembly today for settling in well to his new class! Missy Hinge came home in tears after some ignorant comments from horrid boys and master Hinge howled all the way to preschool and clung to Mr Hinge when it came to leave him..... he misses his old key worker and the small room.

I'm tired today and I haven't done a lot. I am "filing" all the little Hinge's art work and school offering in scrap books as they are over flowing everywhere!! 3 boxes done only 4 to go and that is just Missy Hinges!

I love looking back, a real trip down memory lane!

So Missy Hinge has been bent and put back in place after coming unstuck getting out of bed. She is huddled on the sofa watching Grease and munching on marshmallows and home popped popcorn :D

Superman is feeling very deep and meaningful, I have tried my hardest to answer his questions at 3am such as What does God look like? Who was the first person born if it takes a mum and a dad to have a human? What do Corpses look like? Why are we on Earth? Why do we die? his anxiety is at it's highest and he is petrified he will die and never see us again. I tried to answer his questions but it is getting the balance between satisfying his curiosity and giving him a million more questions to answer :rotfl:

Master Hinge has the grumps. He wants to watch "fire man Sam DVD right NOW!!" stamps foot, hand on hips  he is a snot monster and keeps hitting Missy Hinge to make her squeal.

I'm sourcing supplies, we are making snowman soup, reindeer noses, snow man kisses and reindeer magical food this year for the kids at school..... just something little but I hope fun never the less.

A huge thankyou to EE for helping me crunch some numbers and sort out the calculations for what our income will be when I finish work. we will actually have more income then we currently have and our out goings (parking, petrol, school dinners etc...) will go down over £200. If my calculations are right we can be debt free in 3 years not the 7years it will currently take. I feel more settled in the knowledge that this is defiantly the right choice for us!

today I am turning some not so nice burgers (morrisons meat voucher :o) in to meat balls to have with spaghetti and a tomato/veg/chilli sauce :T

    food this week:

    Saturday meat balls
Sunday roast chicken, cauliflower cheese, mash, carrot/swede yorkie puds and parsnips
Monday L/o chicken curry with rice (Mr Hinge is converted to aldi rice 40p i think for 1kg instead of £1.70 asda stuff :p)
Tuesday minted lamb casserole in giant yorkie puds with new potatoes Mr Hinge will have peppered beef grill as he has an aversion to all things sheepy!:rotfl:
Wednesday freezer spag bol ( busy day )
Thursday freezer chilli (another very busy day )
Friday gammon, egg and Hm wedges
    Saturday sausage and mash

We like a challenge in the House of Hinge.

I have always made new years resolutions and they have always fallen by the wayside but today is not new year and I have every intention of keeping these!

So here goes my hopes for the future:
    • I want to be debt free by December 2017
    • I want to have a "healthy Bmi" by December 2015
    • I want to have my first experience of a holiday abroad
    • I want to become more organised with house wifey tasks
    • I want to take up 2 new hobbies but do not know which 2 yet :rotfl:
    The smaller challenges we have:
    • grocery budget £450 a month
    • exercise 3 times a week
    • 20p and £2 pots
    • do i want it or need it?!
    • use up what we have before buying more..... my cupboards, fridge, stores do not need to be bursting at the seems all of the time
    • to find something positive every day, if I can't find it I need to make it happen. PMA is the way forward.
    • make do and mend, reduce, reuse and recycle...... Frugal is the way
    • shift the yarn stash either use it or sell it!
