It's actually not bad over here - probably about twice what it should be!! Last week it was dressing gowns, hot water bottle and a nice roaring fire. Last night it was just a dressing gown!
Lunchtimes this last while I haven't even stuck on my coat to go round town. Which is very weird!!

Thankfully I've no 2 year olds to deal with. Only 3 teenagers. Who knows where they get their attitude from!?:rotfl:

Busy few days, lots of hospital appointments for Miss Hinge and I continue to taxi them all around to varies places and activities :o

it has been decided that we will apply for a council house and move from private renting, Miss Hinge's OT feels the stairs and the bath are no long safe for Miss Hinge and will try and push our application through in the hope of finding somewhere more suitable relatively quickly. :j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j

I have raised a claim with quidco as my cashback from back in May still has not tracked and the £35 would be most welcome for post festive celebration skintage!

I recently join pinecone survey and have had £9 in luncheon vouchers in the last 2 weeks, I am selfishly saving these for my posh coffee's and time out breaks for the little Hinge's :p

The eye watering Gas and electric bill has arrived, thankfully we received a discount of £125 due to superman's DLA which helped soften the blow, that and the increased DD means we are half way through the winter months with a credit balance rather then a debit :j:j

Miss Hinge's DLA claim is still no where near been sorted, it looks like we will be going to tribunal in the new year  with 5 health professionals backing her claim and detailing her needs they still ruled her as not entitled :(....... until this is resolved I will bend the budget to swallow the cost of her £180 orthotic boots she needs :o she gets supplied with 1 pair from the NHS yet 8weeks in they are kn@cker£d already

Mrs H x who by the size of ehr elefctric bill needs to stop using the tumble dryer :rotfl::rotfl:

  • Oh you have been busy!

Fingers crossed ref the house ;) And well done on all the other money stuffs :) Other than the tumble dryer obviously!!

Just got boiler back in. Needed 3 things replaced. Bearing was one thing. Can't remember the other 2. So parts, plus 1/2 hour each time the guy was there, plus the fact he took it away with him to work on..... £80!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Hi Mrs H, great news on the council house front! Was your heating credit the Warm Home Discount? If not make sure you apply for that too through your energy provider Xx
