    Where has September gone?

    Whistle stop tour.........

Job interviews but no job for Mr H...... Miss H is really struggling with her extra bendiness and the pain walking brings her. clown boots in place and a zillion appointments on the way! Master Hinge growing too fast and becoming cheekier by the day, loving nursery and is s well behaved for them :T if only this expanded for home :rotfl: Superman holding his own, school seems to be settled following the gazillion meetings to chew the phat...... Oh and he has decided he wants to ask santa for a horse for chrimbo! :o he is visiting the local horse therapy centre for people with Autism and adores it there :T however his stocking isn't big enough for a horse nor my purse full enough! :rotfl:

How is everyone? Did you all miss me?! :rotfl:

Mrs H x who appears to of bought a tumble dryer :o

    :j Mrs Hinge x

Happy news in the Hinge household, it's the same here although the King is showing signs of stress. I think it's the long term, another 3 weeks before we break up.

I have been trying to encourage the King to say mummy, he says da lots and Mr Stripes is happy although we know da is his answer to everything. However, I am sure the King is calling my name rather than mummy  :rotfl: better than nothing.

Can you believe Christmas is only round the corner

Horse therapy is a fab idea I've been looking into that too. Glad Superman is coping well in school, the school knows better than to mess with you :rotfl:

Cannot believe we are in October already! Where has the time gone?

How are the Xmas plans Mrs Hinge? Does Superman like Xmas?

This year for the first time we are getting a tree as the king was unable to cope previously, fingers crossed he will be ok:T

The rest has been on the line mainly getting re-washed by the rain :rotfl::rotfl:

Time is flying by sooooo fast!

Superman is ok with xmas if he knows what presents he is getting and they dont get wrapped up :o he hates surprises but likes putting the tree up as it usually means tree chocolates and advent calendars:rotfl::rotfl:

I have bought some stonking bargins using cash back in the form off vouchers, mobile app rewards in vouchers and the last of my over time money, 50% off several octonauts figures with the octopod and a ship wreck for superman, 1/3 off a VT toot toot garage for master hinge and some monster high bits for miss hinge in the argoooooose clearance at 75% off :money:. We are treating miss hinge to a tablet this year so that and her new gothic rucksack and some stocking fillers will be her done. A few power ranger figures left to get for superman and stockings for the boys will be xmas done and i'm not buying for anyone else.

How are your plans coming on? What will you be buying?

Mr Hinge has asked for steak and chips for xmas lunch.... I like his style!:D

*creaky door* dammit..... no getting away with sneaking in here unnoticed is there?! :rotfl:

sorry for going AWOL, as you know Superman broke my laptop, his iPad is off limits to anyone but him  and i am relying on a old dinorsaur laptop that Mr Hinge fished out of the technological grave yard that is the cuboard under the stairs :rotfl: i have no "m" key and my " " keeps sticking and makes a over agerated click everytime i press it!! that and of course the day to day madness in the Hinge household has kept me from posting. I promise to be more regular with my ramblings and should have much more spare time in a few weeks to be around more.

I have done some really deep soul searching and have decided juggling all the balls of house, school, work, children and generally just been a living breathing person, wife, mother that some things need to give. I have handed my notice in at work in favour of a job that means I will only work 2 shifts a week over night. It will mean i have no juggling to do for appointments, school run and will be home in the day to do all the comunicating with the huge phonebook full of health professionals we have working with us at the moment.

I am hoping it will allow me to have some "me" time and give me some vital time with my much abandonned friends. I am in need of some gym sessions, coffee and cake at the snazzy expensive coffee shops and a vastly improved housework rota!

Superman is embarking on play therapy to help with his sensroy difficulties and some sessions at the speech and language centre all appointments are during school hours and I am his taxi driver! all i hope will improve life in the Hinge house. :A:A School seem to be helping alot more and finally I think we have a understanding. The CAF meeting we had helped no end Superman finally has the full support and understand he needs and is coming on leaps and bounds. he can count to 16 and write most letters in some form. His sleep continues to be a huge problem and I have been on any workshops over the last month trying to get help for this, hopefully we should be going to the sleep clinic in southampton in the distant future but we are on the huge waiting list which is a start! We have found a 1:1 swim instructor to work with Superman and he is having weekly sessions of "horse" therapy at the specialist stables near us. He loves riding and is doing fantastic!:D

Miss Hinge has been very unwell recently, she has 3 specialists working with her alongside pain clinic, physio and OT services to help her. Genetics are still having a good look in to what are causing her these troubles, it is felt she has EDS and we are waiting results for arthritis, lupus and auto-immune problems, gastro are looking in to her dodgy tummy and recent weight loss. I have to say everyone has been fantastic and the pain clinic have rushed through her referrals to get her the help she needs as quickly as possible.School have also stepped up to the mark and made alot of changes to her school day to help her carry on. She remains in good spirits despite her constant pain but gets very frustrated and "hormonal raging teenager-ish" alot. I am a permant referee between her and Mr Hinge.:mad:

Master Hinge is doing amazingly well, his speech is awesome, he sleeps well, has cracked potty training at just 2 years old and lights up the room with his beaming smile. :A:A he seems oblivious to the koas that we live in!

moneywise we are doing ok, we continue with out Dmp with SC and are covering all our bills, I have been really slack with surveys and cash back but firmly on the wagon now!

Food budget we continue to battle with.....

    this week looks like:

Saturday sausage, mash, y.puds and peas
    Sunday Gammon joint roast
Monday left over gammon in a risotto
Tuesday rats (tomatoes/corgetts) with spicy hm potato wedges and cheese
Wednesday chicken curry, rice and hm naan
    Thursday beef stew and dumplings
    Friday Hm Pizza and wedges

I'm on the weightwatchers wagon and lost 5.5lbs last week!

anyway I have rambled enough! How is everyone? Strips the King ok? PLMBL I hope your taking good care of yourself, HaW are you staying out of the shops?

Mrs Hinge..... who has hammered the tumble dryer in these torrential down pours

    Hello Rags! how are you?

Stew is a belly filling must in this weather, I'm hoping nice full bellies means they keep warmer so less ££ on heating :rotfl: either that or they will be too full to move and will snuggle down under the quilts :o

thankyou, I have a long way to go 5.5lbs/140 :eek: baby steps!

any tips on the groccery budget battle?
