So today has had me running around like a blue ar$£d fly! :o

school run, Superman at the OT's, school run 2 of the day, grabbed 2 hours at work, school run 3 of the day to collect Miss Hinge, battled with the hospital car park before her physio session and blood tests, rushed back for school run 4 of the day!! and breath.............

The bank is looking rather dismall and a poorly car seems to be certain I am not to afford my hair appointment this week :( 58p in the bank until Tax credits on Thursday although nothing to pay for until then :T Car is booked in and fingers crossed it isn't expensive to fix!

Throw it together cheap as chips risotto for tea, LO gammon scraps, 3 mushrooms,.1/2 a wrinkled onion, 2 stock cubes, a handful of peas and some rice..... huge pan of eatable mush to feed us tonight and my lunch tomorrow :j less then £1.50 :money:Mr Hinge pushed his around the plate before asking whats for main course :mad::mad: Sweet "F" all be the answer :rotfl::D

In my absence I finished Miss HInges aran cardi with 4 types of cables, hineycombs, blackberries and double moss stitch!! I also made her a ear warmer headband, mittens and scarf....... Baby hinge has a new woolie jumper and charlie bear has one to match :rotfl: I have a book full or paid to knit items I am working on and aim to put the ££ towards a evening course on dress making :) these winter nights call for a sofa and duvet special and these knitting/crocheting are just the thing to keep me busy and warm!

Where does the time go?! Each time i post I promise myself I will not wait so long before the next one yet it never works out like that :cool

So november flew by in a nanosecond and december is heading the same way!

Christmas is well under way in the Hinge House, tree and decs are up, cards written and presents wrapped, yellow sticker joint of beef in the freezer, posh ice cream, frozen berries and meringue nest accounted for........ Shoestring christmas are the way forward :D:money:

Superman is doing awesome, the SALT unit he is going to 1 day a week is making him i n to a right chatterbox :rotfl::rotfl: between his new found love of talking and his sensory needs now been met life is a little calmer in the house of Hinge!

Miss Hinge is on twice weekly physio visits, she has the Ot coming to assess for bath equipment and orthotics have finally found the mystery behind her boots hurting so much.......her feet grow vastly when she stands up :o almost a whole size and a half different
We have finally got a referral to genetics and gastro specialists in february  hey whats a whole other 3 months when she has waited 7-8years already :rotfl:

Money wise we seem to be holding our own, the car is on its last legs, the tv is crackling and the kettle blew up last week but the bills are paid and our tummies are full :D

Baby Hinge helped me count up my campervan full of 20p's "on oo vee bive evn six TeNN!" I have been saving since october and intend to treat myself to some posh makeup..... Not sure how much i can get with £12.60 :rotfl::rotfl:

    How is everyone?!

    Mrs Hinge
I agree time has flown by. Good to hear all is well especially for Superman cause like the King if he's happy life is much easier and calmer :D

The King is great, becoming more feisty which is great because there is emotion and responses and testing my boundaries like A Typical would.

Missy Stripe on the other hand!
On Friday I heard the dreaded words from her nursery teacher, Missy Stripes mum can I have a word
Missy Stripe and a friend went to the toilets, filled the sink with paper towels and water and proceeded to jump in the formed puddle on the floor, soaking their socks and shoes. When her teacher asked if she did this, Missy Stripes proudly announced 'yes splash splash!' Too much Peppa Pig I think. Teacher said she had to hold her laughter and told her it's not allowed. :rotfl:

Missy Stripes beamed at me and showed me her daps in replacement of her shoes and shouted splash splash in front of teacher again  This one is trouble ;)

What did you get for Superman for Xmas? The King has a small toy grabbing arcade machine. Mr Stripes has been testing it...........every night :rotfl: just to make sure it works.
  • Great news on Superman :A :)

Well done on the savings! And yes, please do spend it all on yourself!! ;)

We've got car insurance sorted, electric topped up, but boiler has packed in - but we've still full tummies too! :)

 to Missy Stripe!!! I'm sure the teacher was ready to explode with laughter!!!!
