    :waves:

    Morning!

what an amazing christmas we had  the house stayed calm all day and we negoliated around Superman's meltdowns as we saw them arise..... who would of thought the sight of a sciene experiment volcano would upset him so much , not nearly as much as the joke book the delightful mother-in-law bought him  sigh!

Miss Hinge is delighted with the gothic barbie dolls that are Monster High, her home made crocheted bag went down a storm!

Toddler Hinge has spent the last 2 days pestering us to play with him and teach him to work the lift on his new toy garage!

Xmas dinner went down a treat, yellow stickered beef and the full works.......Superman had his usual cheese mash and sausage:rotfl::rotfl: nothing if not predictable!

back to work today, as I still here typing from my desk the place is wearily empty:o everyone else had the good sense to book the day off :rotfl:

Stripes How did the King like xmas?! did you survive?

No sales shopping for us this year, we are trying to "clean" out the house in the hope for a house move in the not so near future!

Happy New Year Mrs Hinge :j
Fab news about Christmas, we too had a great day and worked around the meltdowns, it's funny how our households work.

The King loved his present so much he attempted to carry it with him when we went to in laws for dinner. It was a grabbing machine (major OCD ) and quite large. Had to take it with us until he settled then sneaked it back into the boot of the car, well had to encourage some socialising with the family :rotfl:

A rather pleasant day, no grumpy faces, petty remarks or being ignored so a good time :p

    Joke book  literally :rotfl:

    to 2014

Busy day today, trip in to tow to pay in the Xmas cheques and ££'s!! £6 luncheon vouchers spent in the friendly bakers for lunch :money: and all sale shopping avoided!

Mr Hinge's birthday today so a yummy steak dinner to enjoy later once the horrors are in bed!

    Menu looks like this:
    Sat steak and hm wedges
Sun roast beef ( huge 2.9kg topside whoopsies down to £5.71 on Boxing Day chopped in to 5 chunks :money:)
Mon freezer spag Bol hm garlic bread
Tues BBQ chicken wings/thighs with hm wedges and coleslaw
Wed pork steaks/sausage, mash and peas
    Thurs curry with rice/naan
Friday hm pizza, pasta and salad

2x £2 coins in my change from car parking today going in to my pamper pot:j and 3 x20p's in my camper van! Savings pots of to a good start!

Budget done for Jan 2014 and so far looking good! I may even get my hair done:rotfl:

The "cleaning" carries on in the House of Hinge, toys have been sorted and rotated and the old broken ones have gone to the tip with the Xmas recycling bags of plastic and boxes! Old Xmas card are bagged up to go to school for craftiness and the tree should come down tomorrow and the room and be out back and de-cluttered! Top of the list tomorrow is the kitchen cupboards and the bathroom draws.... When hunting for toothpaste I found we had 3 tubs of opened sudacream and 4 bottles of bubble bath..... Neither are used and are just taking up much needed space:cool:

I am seriously contemplating looking in to hire-ring a storage unit for the camping/Xmas/[STRIKE]mr hinges !!!![/STRIKE] in preparation for moving, must looking in to it more!

So what is everyone planning for new year?

Happy New Year Mrs Hinge  Can you imagine us being neighbours we would start drinking at 9am after the school run :rotfl:

Bad weather and Mr Stripes doing his 4 day shift means we have been stuck indoors rather too much. The King keeps hovering around the hallway. if he wasn't such a runner then we wouldn't be so restricted where we go. Can be stressful when I'm on my own , really my hair is like this  constantly keeping one eye and one hand on him. we did manage to feed the swans and go to the park with one meltdown so an excellent outing :D

No plans for New Years an early night :rotfl:

Stripes how awesome would it be for the long and superman to be buddies and us be neighbours  forget school run it would be ever o'clock!
