Checked out my £40 from onepoll this morning :j:j it's only taken me umpteen years as I kept getting fed up with being screened out! will close my account when my payment comes through!

Mr H is also managed to get his free £10 amazon voucher so thats £100 in the xmas pot from £80 spends.:money::money: I think we are planning to buy the Mini Hinge's a games console to share this year as their main present. They have all enjoyed playing on my friends playstation on the skylanders/disney infinity games in the holidays and has helped greatly with turn taking. :D hoping to find some good package deals later in the year and plan to have the money as gift codes to be able to pay for it!

Missy Hinge and her friend are at the swimming pool, it is the wet and wild inflatable session so that cost me £6 by the time she's paid in and bought a drink and snack, it keeps her out the boys hair and the water helps her aches and pains.

Beef stew is in the croc pot, have made the batter for giant yorkie puds and Mr H has peeled enough spuds for today and tomorrow!

I'm shattered today. Superman is grumpy today, the local air show is on and the fly overs are very loud and make the ground tremor. Hoping once they finish he will calm down and i can get my evening of crocheting in front of trashy Tv! :o

  • Hope you are enjoying a peaceful evening. My DS2 loves skylanders, and equally enjoys playing with the figures without the console too Xx

  • AWOL once again  sorry! Haven't felt like I had anything worth sharing :o

Life has been ticking on in the house of Hinge as usual, Superman is still as quirky as ever, Missy Hinge still as bendy as ever and master Hinge (or Leonardo as he is insisting we all him) is still or even more so as cheeky and mischievous! Mr Hinge is just Mr Hinge and me well I'm not sure what I am any more, chief, cook and bottle-washer, PA, chauffeur and general dogsbody spring to mind.... i'm sure Mary is hiding under there somewhere.

Phone call from the jobcentre last week has left me reeling. The abusive phone call wasn't enough it seems from today's letter that a face to face attack is also required. I just wonder where they find these people. Seems by being on carers allowance and disability benefits we are letting our children down, we would be so much better parents if I go back to work. (*insert eye roll here) there is no reason at all why 2 children with disabilities/medical conditions and a 4 year old would take 2 parents help and I should work over night. It is more then ok to leave superman unsupervised over night when he is flooding the bathroom and to leave Missy Hinge to look after herself during/after a seizure so said parent can sleep to be able to function enough to ensure 4 year old is safe and looked after in the day

Waiting on a call from the carers centre to double check a few things before I send in a complaint.

Missy Hinge is home today, she had some nasty falls over the weekend and is in a lot of pain. She is sat up in bed doing her homework and watching Buffy :rotfl: takes me back a few years!

Money wise we are plodding along. £225 over payment made to Mr H CC this month :T:T I decided that was "spare" at the start of the month and so it didn't get wasted I would remove temptation. We have just enough left to cover everything but I feel abit "twitchy" at the lack of wriggle room!

    How is everyone else?

  • Missy Hinge doesn't bounce very well at all

She's gone in to school on her crutches today, well one as her elbow is too sore for her to use the other one. She seems better after a day in bed yesterday.

I've made a cake this morning, just a vicky sponge but it is cooling..... Mr H is chomping at the bit to get a chunk of it :rotfl:

Superman is at the OT this afternoon, it seems he has inherited Missy Hinge's bendi-ness :( going to have a problem solving session to help with practical things.
