    It has flown by!!

The bags are packed and lunches made, Mr Hinge is on school run duty for Missy Hinge's first day at secondary school. I have the job of [STRIKE]dragging superman kicking and screaming[/STRIKE] encouraging superman to go :o it is his first day at his new school and he has gone from being very excited to sobbing uncontrollably and pleading to stay at home.

It is master Hinge's birthday tomorrow although we celebrated it early due to tomorrows chaos.... he doesn't kow any different and it meant his day wasn't ruined by superman's bad mood and whining!

:j:j:j:j:j:j Superman LOVES his new school :beer::beer::beer: for the first time in 4 years I am not wrestling him out the door to school :T His new teacher and TA are lovely and "just get him" and he has happily chatted away to them about all sorts of randomness :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Missy Hinge although she has enjoyed this last week she is exhausted and in pain. The school have also being amazing and have sorted out things to help her manage the day. Her new netbook is light weight and most of her equipment is easily portable. We've bought her a bag on wheels today as it quickly became clear she isn't going to manage carrying her rucksack all day. The canteen is fantastic with it's intolerance info and everyday has a hot meal option that is suitable for her :)

Master Hinge ran in to his new preschool and didn't look back! He adores it there and after 2 sessions has decided he wants to stay there forever!! The staff are fantastic and look his sense of mischief and humour!

Mr Hinge and I celebrated our first child free day at the gym then sent the next 2 days recovering :rotfl::rotfl: yesterday we had breakfast out at the cafe and paid for it with nectar points. We have a voucher for next week (thankyou Tesco points) for £20 at a pub for lunch.

We have spent a good few hours reading through out statements, budget and bills and have realised we aren't as frugal as we had thought and could be paying a lot more towards our debts then we are.We seem to fritter money away on nothing really so have given ourselves a kick up the bum and made a plan.

Today I have bought £40 amazon vouchers to qualify for the free £10 which has made a start to our Christmas saving fund. I will get Mr H to check if he qualifies for the deal as that would be £20 free for 2 minutes effort.

I have rechecked my survey accounts and done a few that were in my inbox. I'm on £39.95 at onepoll so hope to cash out my £40 payment this week.... all goes to the present fund!

I have paid £100 of Mr H's CC and over paid the council tax, water and Tv license by 30% in the hope over the next few months I can get a month ahead with all my bills.

Mobile contract has been changed to sim online deal this week as I am happy with my iphone and it is only 12months old, thus cutting my bill by 50% :j:

made a huge pan of bottom of the fridge soup and pizza dough for 7 pizzas (frozen 6 potions)

Our second Muscle food delivery arrived yesterday as we were super impressed with the quality of the last one. The freezer is now groaning and we have enough meat for main meals for the whole of september and half of october :money: we had a half price deal and used some loyalty points to buy some extra chicken breasts. £55 spent in total and we got:

5kg chicken breasts (48 huge breasts so a good 24 meals for 3 of us)
400gm chicken mince (2 meals for 3 of us)
800gm steak mince ( 4-5 meals for 3 of us)
800gm diced beef steak (3 meals for the 3 of us)
    12 sausages
4 1/4lb steak burgers (Mr H will eat these for lunches)
    4 7oz rump steaks ( 2 meals of the 3 of us)
4 6oz beef grills (Mr H will eat these for lunches)

I sense alot of batch coking coming on :rotfl: The diced beef and veggies are all prepped and in the slow cooker pot ready to cook for tomorrow the rest will be frozen for later in the month. I have curry paste to make this afternoon so we can have some easy "fakeaways" for the nights Mr H is reaching for the take away menus :cool:

    All in all a fabulous week:beer: :beer::beer::beer::beer:

Wow fantastic news about schools for all the little Hinges. Especially Superman. What a relief! Impressive forward planning too with the X word and getting a month ahead with bills. I can't bear to think about Autumn yet let alone December.

Nice to "see you" Verbatim! I can't begin to express how relieved and happy I am about the schools, I feel like like a huge weight has been lifted!

X word will be here before I can blink, I always try to get the birthdays out the way then crack on with the it. I tend to make poor choices that are more expensive if under pressure and in a rush so it really does save me some £££'s!

Today it is so cold here it feels like December  had the heating on for an hour or so this morning  currently online window shopping at new dressing gowns and slippers :rotfl:
