Thankyou EE I am feeling really really good, it is amazing what seeing the back of the old school can do... by far one of the biggest stresses in the house of hinge gone. All new schools/preschool are amazing and "just get it". Missy Hinge's new school have followed the OT's advice on equipment no questions asked and for their own convenience and to make school easier to juggle for Missy Hinge they have ordered enough to be spread over the 3 buildings so it won't be musical chairs for her coping with just the 1, they are come with a hefty price tag yet funding wasn't an issue......couldn't even get a £5 slope for her at the old place with out a battle!!

EE how does your son manage with his HMS? I know hormones can affect females to give them more symptoms but does he manage ok? Does it give him gastro trouble/PoTs/Pain like Missy Hinge has?

I think here in the Midlands we are always a week ahead with holidays! we go Back on the 1st of September yet I remember as a child growing up "up-north" we always went back the second week of september!

I had a lovely break with my fantastic friend at the spa in the mini heatwave, chilling by the outside pool, sleeping, reading, eating and being pampered! it has done me the world of good!

How are you Lucky? I hope your finding some "you" time in that hectic schedule of yours x x

Today I have emptied out the freezer, rearranged and defrosted some "main meals" for the next 2 days. amazing what gets left in there lingering!!

The Little Hinge's had GF sausage rolls for breakfast that I made back in march time and froze uncooked, I also cooked the GF cinnamon swirls for them to have as a snack/desert later.

The monthly Asda shop today came to £123 (£15 were minion bits as treats for good reports/SAT results..... Did I mention Missy Hinge's SAT results were the best in her school? ;) ) This was mainly meat and cupboard stockpiles, we will need fresh things each week but we have £12.40 healthy start vouchers this month to help with milk and fruit/veggies.

Sunday Lunch today will be cottage pie (only mash needed as I froze the base last time I made a pan full!)with yorkshire puds (GF frozen ones I made for Missy Hinge weeks ago :rotfl:) roasties and YS veg that I prepared and froze last week  I like "Lazy dinners" :rotfl:

The YS lamb mince is in the slow cooker with onion, diced carrot/turnip/parsnips/peas and a good glugg of mint sauce gravy it will make the base for 2 meals..... one will be shepherds pie and the other giant yorkies filled with minted lamb stew! again easy freezer dinners at the end of our summer days out adventures.

I also have a pan of veggie/bean/lentil chillie cooking to portion up for jacket spuds/nachos/enchiladas/toasties.

The giant pack of Mince is waiting to be made in to sauce for spag bol/lasange and chillie (Mr Hinge wont eat the veggie/bean/lentil one ) these again will be frozen for "go to meals"

The chicken breasts have been bagged separately, some shredded for stirfry or diced for curry. the rest are whole and have been flavoured with hm marinade. If i bag them up Mr Hinge can't get away with eating a whole pack between the 2 of us in one go :rotfl:

This afternoon I whilst I'm chained to the stove I shall make up a batch of Twinks biscuits/cookie dough/cornflake cakes/banana bread/lemon drizzle for picnics and bottomless-pit hungry Hinge moments for the week ahead. :o I'm hoping to slice them up and freeze in portions to spread them out along the week.

Best make a start or I will still be baking at bedtime :rotfl::rotfl:

We have a new addition to the family puppy stripes! The King has taken 6 months to get use to her and will allow the pup next to him........why does everything always take a little longer

Good to have you back Mrs Hinge and all the good news about the new school :T

2 x 2lb banana and choc chip loaves cooling as we speak:D will have some spread with flora for supper :D

cookie dough made, rolled and in the freezer, will slice it when set ready to bake a handful when needed and enough potatoes peeled and chopped ready for the next few days.

Another rubbish weather wet day today.......we are indoors camping out under the "den" table and blankets mixed with a pop up tent and a few clothes airers :D. I have some jacket spuds cooking for lunch and lasanage is all made ready to throw in the oven for tea tonight.

I have booked a 2 night camping stay with a friend and her little folk at a near by water park in a couple of weeks, splitting the cost makes it cheap as chips and less then £20:money: Will leave Mr H at home animal sitting :D Hotdogs and spaghetti all round..... nom nom camping food!

£330 over payment sent to Mr H's CC today to clear the balance before the 0% ends next week. I regret that next week but it needed doing

be back later World war 3 is breaking out, Master Hinge knows which of superman's buttons to press to make him explode in meltdown :eek::eek::eek:
