......... he's just walked in the door with flowers :cool: I can't help feeling ungrateful but they are horrid I have lost count of how many times i have pointed out and told him how much I love the bunches with the purple thistles, big green leafy cabbage like flowers and beautiful white roses...... these are dirty red roses with star gazing lillies that stink to high heaven ans have seen much better days :cool:

Happy birthday Mrs H!!! I know exactly what you mean about the flowers. You are not ungrateful. men are just stupid creatures who grab the nearest bunch with a 'that'll do' attitude and a frantic expression on their faces.

Crikey - the big 3-0 have you sprouted a huge volume of grey hair? Have your lady lumps discovered gravity overnight? I am just wondering what it will be like in little over a years time lol!!

Christmas shopping yesterday for bits £50.13 and pieces and £4 on a big sack of spuds from the farm.

The House of Hinge is good to go!!

we are having:

YS Turkey crown and YS Pulled pork
roasties
mash
yorkie Puds
stuffing
chipolatoes
carrots
sprouts
broccoli

all with lashings of gravy!!

I've made a trifle and 2 dozen cup cakes

The house of hinges has been polished, shined, hoovered and scrubbed all ready for the jolly red fella to visit :rotfl:

we've spent the afternoon in our new pj's in front of the Tv watching films and raiding our xmas Eve hamper

I'm shattered today after staying up until 3am finishing of a knitted cardi I have been working on for my friend. worth it now it's done but I couldn't see straight at the time

How is everyone? head less chickens?

What a lovely day we have had so far, presents, chocolate, games, more chocolate, fights over who's toy is who's, more chocolate..... you get the picture!

What a yummy dinner we had, simple yet very tasty and eating in fabulous company :beer: couldn't convince anyone to have a brussel sprout though :rotfl:

this afternoon I have filled in my new address book, set up the new diary and budget planner for next year and renewed my breakdown cover through tops cash back yes I know it's xmas day but in my defence the little hinges are playing nicely and I had a good 45minutes of peace and quiet :rotfl::rotfl: £84.99 for the year with £39.37 cash back :money: sure is cheaper then the £22 a month the AA wanted to renew my policy from last year :T:T:T:T

This evening is more of the same Missy Hinge is drawing in her new "journal" and the Boy Hinges are showing more interest in each others toys than their own!

We had a lovely Christmas Day too Mrs Hinge.

Although the King is still poorly now with an infected sty we have had lots of cuddles and I stayed home with the boy while hubby went to in laws for a bit.
