  • Amazing. My nephew is on the autistm spectrum, and his head for certain things is incredible even if his social skills leave a little bit to be desired at times. He fascinated me with the million facts he could reel off about dinosaurs aged 4... :D now 15, has a way with the ladies and soaring at school so obviously works for him :D

Well done you on finding them. Treasure hunt for you, then a treasure hunt for Superman too :D

I've just filled out the forms for healthy start vouchers and free school meals.... the healthy start vouchers for master Hinge will total £105 between now and his 4th birthday in September to spend on milk and fresh fruit and veggies.... will keep him in milk shakes and strawberries for a while!

I'm going to ring the local county hall to discuss Missy Hinge's dietary requirements to see if they can feed her as when we were paying for lunches for her she was eating all the wrong things as there was nothing else on offer. would help with reducing the shopping bills for her pack ups. Superman will still take his lunch with him  he is cracking down even further on his eating so I really don't want to rock the boat!

Today has brought along a huge pain flare, I have done very little in the way of anything other than sofa surf and have Mr Hinge help me with every little thing. Who would of thought non-working hands, wrists and fingers would impact on so much  blinking miserable.

    Thankyou lily.

I'm less stiff today just rather sore. Mr Hinge is on a mission to tie up lots of loose ends before the new year and is dragging us out and about on lots of errands

Before we left the postman brought great news of a PPI refund totalling £278 for 2 loans I had with HSBC :T making the refund total £364.54 :j not bad for the price of 3 stamps and a few sheets of paper! I have chosen to have this one refunded to me rather than reducing my debt with them like I did the last refund. I plan on saving for full and finals and this will be a good starting point

I am a big believer in good news coming in 3 bursts.......

So we had PPI refund the other day

We have arranged to see a new house next week that will meet our needs perfectly. It is another private rent but it is already adapted and has downstairs facilities for Missy Hinge  we are the first to view so fingers crossed we can get through the referencing and checks and it be ours :beer:

Then this afternoon a phone call from DLA decision maker checking some details for our reconsideration (we were told a 26week wait and it has been a few weeks only!) She said we should hear shortly on her decision but really took a interest in Missy Hinge's needs and asked about her needs and what extra help she has at school and home. So fingers crossed!!

I envisage great things for the Hinge household in 2015

Tonight we are chilling out, snuggling up and sleeping when we get the chance!

    Happy New Year everyone!
