DLA letter started with "we are very pleased to tell you there is no change to "Missy Hinge's" award

Very pleased I bet we asked for them to look at it again due to the huge increase in her care needs not because we thought it would be reduced or stopped :mad::mad: I am currently on hold asking for a reconsideration and a call back from the decision maker!!

Rheumy report was as condicending as always and nit picked over everything. making a huge fuss about how she refused to let him examine her..... she was in agony and couldnt stand up with out help let alone have him bend and pull and twist at her. I was very proud when she told him he couldn't touch her!!

Today is very much another duvet day, master Hinge is at preschool and the bigger Hinge's at school (with alot of encouragement..... it is blinking freezing and no one wanted to get up and out today!!)

Busy day yesterday, chistmas shopping, swim lessons, cooking, washing, cleaning, more washing, more cleaning....... You get the picture!


Dinner was a YS chicken that whas huge and about £2 it did roast dinner, LO have made 9 mini chicken and veg pies, enough chicken and stuffing SW filler for a good 4/5 sandwiches, a small quiche and stock for soup :j

havent a clue what we will eat today, freeze "wing it! think!

what a miserable, cold and frostie morning it is, and it is Monday :eek: double whammy!

Chased up my compo today..... court ordered it to be paid before the 27th of November so should be cleared and paid to me in the next 10days :beer:

Today I switched my energy tariff to save £325 a year :j worth the £10 in early exit fees. Our bill arrived today for the last 3 months £255 so well below our DD rate and we have had the heating on plenty!

I have found and purchased Superman's wish list from a toy dealer so they will arrive in the post this week :T all other presents are wrapped and the xmas eve hamper is made! just the decorations to go up and the cards to write...... feels strange making christmas preperations but as they say the show must go on!

This morning I treated Mr Hinge to breakfast out at the local carvery place...... extravigant maybe but just what we needed.

when we got home Mr Hinge tackled the ironing whilst I had a hot chocolate and a knatter with a friend that dropped by :beer:
we have made a start on some of the christmas decorations and the tree will go up later when they horrors are back from school :eek:..... I get OCD about the tree and hate it when they put baubles on anywhere :rotfl:

have some empty tubs to make in to snowmen skittles for the litle hinges to squabble over :rotfl:

Superman declared it the bestest beautiful-est loveliest christmas tree in the whole world so I can't possible re-do it now
