The matter is in hand and all I will say is that I am optimistic about a result; but we don't want the "spies" eavesdropping.
Being as this is timbo's claim thread please only timbo to post re his claim....other people with these letters please do not add to this thread.
Fedupowner please start your own thread in a new topic, two posters with one genuine claim and one non stamped court paper could become very confusing. You may click thanks if you found my advice useful0 -
give_them_FA wrote: »Fedupowner, they will NOT take you to Court for being the owner or keeper because they can't, they proceed upon the assumption that the keeper was driving, but ONLY the driver would ever be liable and it is for them to prove.
Without that evidence their case would never get past first base, which is why they are frightening you instead of suing you. If you get a REAL form come back and tell us and we will make them eat it.:rotfl:
and i will ask my hubby to scan the paper and post it here( without my personal details ) so u could have a clearer picture0 -

This is part of the scam. Why don't you just compare your letters to the pictures in the top thread?
That's what they are there for, this letter IS THERE, no need to scan it in again. See my signature, the forum index view is only one click away.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Sorry fedupownerYou may click thanks if you found my advice useful0 -
Civil Enforcement is just a debt collector acting on behalf of the PPC, they have "purchased" the debt and will try any trick to part you from your hard earnt money
I feel obliged to correct your statement Kite, - Civil Enforcement Ltd (CEL) IS the PPC here; they are therefrore not acting on behalf of anyone else & most certainly will not have 'purchased' the debt from another.
@ fedupowner - as already advised by others, CEL can be safely ignored.
Your enquiries with Northampton will reveal that a claim has not been issued by them, and more to the point, IMHO, never will be.
Timbos case really should be the subject of a seperate thread. It is now dominating the OPs thread.0 -
Hi, I could really do with some advice and would appreciate any input.
I hired a car, when the contract finished due to financial difficulties I was unable to pay the final months payment. When I returned the car some small damages to the vehicle were noted. I received a letter from the car company demanding that I pay not only the final months payment (which I accept) but also the charges for damages which I dispute. I tried with my very limited knowledge to try and stop them from pursuing their claim against me. I have asked for proof of their claim, validation of their claim and several other requests. They did not respond, I sent a follow up letter and final letter. I believed this would form a tacit contract as the did not provide the evidence requested. I have now received a "court claim" letter. Please can someone tell me how to check the authenticity of this document. Within the "court claim" the claimant has stated as truth that they have provided me with validation of the debt. I have received some paperwork from them but I don't think it is what I asked for e.g. a signed invoice and so forth. I am prepared to offer the amount I believe owe. Please help.0 -
Unsure what to do? Well, you can start by opening a new thread with your query, rather than reviving an old, somewhat unrelated one.0
