My tree peony is in a pot and it's OK, but an unidentified tree I grew from mixed seed, which might have been a Judas Tree, was hit by the frost in the polytunnel and has lost all its developing leaves. I suppose it may grow some more yet.....

Just rescued a Marshmallow, which we've had sitting in the same pot for 4 years now and should by rights be dead. It's still viable and in 3 chunks. :)

I was wrong about the metal roofing; the owner is willing to sell it, but he has to look for the receipts first! :( Hmm... How is it Alfie doesn't have these problems when she wheels & deals? Where am I going wrong?

    SMILE SWEETLY....LOOK POOR.... ;)

think they feel sorry for me...;) :D :rotfl::rotfl:

Dave - Marsh mallow is lovely. I brought some here, but it died. Is your's purple?

You should keep black fleeces away from white if you want to sell them as they 'contaminate' the white.

Beautiful day again, but cold, really sharp eye watering wind.

Made a muck with the new postal charges so a lot out of pocket. The bay was slow this last week, but it all helps.

Yes Rummer, I have been having a look over her today and she is lovely and soft! Is it worth selling the fleece or should I be greedy and keep it for myself?! ;) I could mix it with my white alpaca to make a bit more of it or I know where to get some angora...

Alpaca too!!! Where is the envy button?? The pleasure you would get from prepping and spinning your own fleece would far out weight the money you would get for it ;)

Choille, if its any consolation the PO counter staff hadnt been trained in the new charges and really didnt know how to apply the new parcel sizes.

Alf, I think I need to learn how to smile sweetly, but even then the auctioneer seems more interested in his wife and the higher bidders  :rotfl::rotfl:

Rain due today didnt come, still cool if not freezing. Still not worth sowing in the beds yet, some warmth would be lovely.

Just about cleared out our Ebay stock, so will be buying again later this week. We plan to sell a few bits of furniture to make room for more stock shelving.

I feel less guilty knowing that most of you have not started sowing yet. Although I have no excuse for not getting the potatoes in :o

I would say mine is more of a washed-out mauve, but it might show its true colours out of a pot. :)
