Right, I've had my panto dress fitted, so I'm off to do something for an hour or two, though what, I'm not sure.....[/QUOTE]

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: speechless !!....im sure you will think of something dave...in your new dress...:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I said "had it fitted." When you have a costume fitted, it isn't in a proper state to wear; it's the stage where all the adjustments are made, (but you know that!:p)

When I get my wig, you'll be among the first to see the outfit, which isn't bad, I must say. I get lots of cover-up space under that dress & petticoat, so I can probably put a pair of long johns on if needs be. Village halls can be draughty places in February....

  • Huge thanks to everyone for their kind wishes the other day, I'm pleased to report that I seem to be on the mend. I'm not rushing about at all, or doing anything particular, but I have been able to stay out of bed all day today and watch Pride and Prejudice (BBC 1995 version) so it definitely feels like a bit of progress. I still feel very tired but I'm not on quite such an emotional rollercoaster now so it looks like I'm going to survive it after all ;) I did wonder at one point TBH!

I'm just going to take my recovery slowly and build up stamina for next week - Alfie, all being well we're still on!

Still blowing a hooley here but it's mild and currently dry.

No more interest in the house at present, but if it doesn't sell we shall make the best of it and I'll start working out what to grow where (and get a different job!)

    Love to all,
    Alex

We are having a bigger room in the antique place, so going to concentrate on the men's clothes, so need a few more 'props' so to speak.

Also going to try a small section of vintage kiddies clothes etc...
