    Good on DS!
Always a huge relief, because failing is so expensive.

    I've been Money Tipped!
Cannot get much done here. Too wet outside, too cold inside. Plus run out of paint for the room we are painting and the next tin isn't delivered until thursday.

Tomorrow we are taking a rare mrning away as actual time off.....it's only half a day but to do nothing, visit no one, just somewhere dh wants to go to totally relax. He wanted a whole day there but half a day is better than nothing, right? :)

:rotfl: I'm guessing the photo has made everything look much lighter than real life but, yes, except our water is constantly moving downhill (some of it very noisily) at a rate of knots.

    Congratulations to the new driver.

The photo was taken around 2pm when it stopped for a bit. This morning we couldn't see the other side of the valley.

The water in the pic is moving too. Admittedly its's only doing about 1mph, but it's flowing steadily past the light Sussex, down under the house, then out the other side. Nice! :(

Really strong gales indeed. Electrickery off earlier on, but back on now.

It's so wet again. Gonna be a noisey night with stuff falling off the shelves.

Was listing stuff all weekend & been doing little else.

Got to admit my thoughts were running on the same lines, as one door shuts............

So yes, ducks, or maybe a carp pond, reed bed filtration ;)

We have a wind sock sign on our weather summary too today, but it looks dry, which is really important.

The wind is bringing me sewage smells. :( Fortunately, they are the 'treated' kind of smell. Lifting the cover on the run out channel confirms that the system is just backed-up, with nowhere for the run-out to drain into ATM. Hopefully, that will change as the day goes on....

    I planted a few seeds yesterday.....don't tell Rummer!:rotfl:

The thing is, this place can be as dry as a bone, so without fancy liners etc we can't expect to have a pond. Our stream is flowing at hundreds, if not thousands of gallons an hour just now, but it can dry up completely in the summer months.

Pete will not be too happy this morning....

So its sunny outside and I'm not supposed to go out :(

Had a permanent headache for a month, and as we are in a high radon area, thought I should go to the docs as it just wouldnt shift.

Turns out its likely to be just an infection and blocked passages between ear and nose so its antibiotics etc, but the one they prescribe makes the skin photosensitive. So with all the rain and snow we've had, whats the odds of a week of fine, sunny weather :rotfl::rotfl:.

Its meant that I cant concentrate on listings, hopefully that will change soon.

Dave, so the carp idea was really carp :(
