I liked what they did on Restoration Man, they seemed from the filming to have a glass of wine in their hand as much as a chisel or plane! But the quality of their work was lovely and no sign of skimped or bodged jobs.
But I'd have been the philistine who would have wanted conservation double glazing, nor would I have entertained the encircling water feature.0 -

Stuff thats left is stuff I've not quite got round to, part dinner sets, bathroom fittings, tea sets etc, ones that take an effort to list and to pack!! Kind of stuff thats character building and time consuming to get rid of
Weather permitting will be at Andrew/Bethan's nx Sat to stock up again, by which time shelves will be bare.0 -

I don't know. It made a noise like a pop then felt weird on the front left wheel /axle, sort of jerky, and sounded like a bag of broken glass. Never heard that before.
Garage collecting it on Monday and the pub are letting me leave it there until then. Think it's the car rather than the engine iyswim.0 -
LIR, that doesnt sound good at all but at least it didnt happen on a motorway
CTC, I'll look out for a few duos for you and when I've got a few I'll let you know. Just floral or like the Royal Albert Radium on atm?
Bit of a nothing day, babysitting atm so no listings. Treated DW to a remaindered but perfectly fine lunch today at a cost of 58p for two

LIR ..I will ask hubby when he gets home what he thinks it is by your discription... maybe it will still live ( if it is cost effective)
Rhiwie... thanks would really appreciate you keeping an eye out... royal albert would be ideal, but the cost might not be:rotfl:Work to live= not live to work0 -

Thank, that's really kind!
When I drove it back up the road to the garage the engine felt ok, but it almost felt as is there were baling twine round the axle and going under the back wheel. Tbh, I checked I had not run over someone's rubbish/recycling:o.0 -
