Alfie.. that sofa sounds cool.... it does sound as though you injoy furniture...and if you can make a few bob picking bits up cheap and selling them on.. go for it, clear that bloody shed out:p If you need a hand, we could come down in a few weeks to help...( basically only to be nosey:cool::D) seriously.. you know better than me, that secondhand retro furniture ( or any good quality furniture) is bringing good money.

Anyone else find Carol Kl**n really irritating? :mad: Just came back to bed after a quick smoke at the back door (saw the fox run across the garden) to find her waxing lyrical about compost and I just wanted to sock her in the chops! :eek: She's so full of cliches.

hubby said without actually driving the car, its hard to say what the problem is, it could be cv joint, diff or halfshaft, if it was a bearing it wouldnt have 'popped' it would be just a constant 'droneing' noise.

funny enough our maverick had to have a new bearing this week, the noise was unbearable.

Went through my seed box last night to remind myself it wont be that long until Spring

But its cold and wet outside and forecast to get worse, so its mainly a day in, just a quick trip out this morning to sell some silver and get some bits and pieces. Never quite sure about weather forecasts, often they seem to exaggerate so its not just a case of reading the weather, its interpreting the forecaster's severity index

It's a beautiful sunny morning here, but very cold with snow forecast for Monday ~ can definitely feel it coming (not by lir's methods!! :rotfl:) I can just feel it in the air.
