You're welcome to come up to Liverpool, no animal chores or sh*t shovelling required! Might ask for some company at Old Home and help going through all the carp there! But only if you're up to it.

I'll try and leave the getting stuck stuff to LIR :rotfl:"...And if it don't feel good, what are you doing it for?" - Robbie Williams - 'Candy'0 -

Oooo eck! :rotfl:Oh well, it washes off eventually doesn't it, and I've been looking for a new perfume :P Eau de manure doesn't sound too bad, does it?"...And if it don't feel good, what are you doing it for?" - Robbie Williams - 'Candy'0 -
Eventually, yes.
I'd still work up to eau de pigpoo gradually if I were you, though, Alex0 -
Truthfully, I find the smell of manure washes off quickly. Urine on the otherhand hangs in the skin and hair like nicotine clings to smokers. I use salt scrubs a lot to slough of any dead dry skin it can cling too, and leave lots of conditioner in my hair. I think dry skin and hair soak up the smell quicker.
A stack of clean hats to wash and wear over hair are extremely useful.0 -
Rhiwy, your bell is a ships bell, is it attached to a piece of wood? Looks like it is from your eBay photos. Might be a good idea to add the measurements of the wood to your eBay description, I'd want to know that if I was thinking of buying...
To be honest am tempted, but we already have a ships bell that isn't attached to wood (bought for OH years ago but he never did anything with it), the GrandTwins are really into bells, if we put ours up we'll have to make sure it's well above their reach (unless lifted up) or there will be cacophony here that will be disturbing our very lovely next door neighbour... Mind you, she's deaf so prob wouldn't!0 -

Hi Maggie, it was just screwed loosely to the plank for photoing. And with a long leather plait all too easy for young hands0 -
Kinda quiet in here this morning!
No doubt many of you are like me and thinking, "Where the hell did the last couple of weeks go?" We may console ourselves by remembering that very little has been possible in the outdoors recently.
I now feel better about the building work. It's been clear to me that the plan I posted still won't fall within budget, no matter how we switch rooms around, and it seems that DW is more willing to compromise than I imagined.
A friend who viewed the plans with the twin en-suites put it a different way: "Excuse me asking, but just how many bottoms do you both have?" :rotfl:0
