So change my weight, change my house, change my job.

    Not much then!

I think you sound realistic in your expectations about a house sale. If it goes quickly, well & good, but there's no point adding stress by setting deadlines etc. You may get fed up with keeping it "nice" though! ;)

Another weight loser here, now there's a fighting chance of eating less again and doing more physical activities. I've put on 5lb since DD's wedding last July:o:o, but at least I'm still way under my worst weight.

Not saying what that was! :rotfl:

    Good morning!

We had a lovely time bringing in the New Year with good friends. A good start to the year here as it is bright and sunny so I am hoping to go out for a walk later (if I can bring myself to leave the couch ;)).

This is the year I am finally going to make a real difference to the garden :j I have mentally finalised my plans (although I will tweak where necessary) and I am starting to put the pennies aside and to look at ways of making it affordable.

I also could do with trimming down weight wise so increased gardening can only be a bonus :D

Two main trees to prune DONE, and the long border of roses. The weeding there otoh...ground is too wet and is clinging on to the roots of stuff.

Dh is out looking for eyes and wire so we can get on with that job instead!

Hubby has just gone up the ranch for a few hours, so I can put the beef joint on and prepare the veggies for a beef dinner, going to make a double amount, so we can have a beef dinner tomorrow as well for tea...

going to take some pics of some items which are just mooching around the house and put them on the bay this evening..

Might as well, as I need the money more than the items at the mo, thats one good thing of being a hoarder:cool::D it is a sort of savings plan:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

We had the heavy showers through the night, too, Dave. At the moment it's 5 minutes of weak sunshine followed by half an hour of grey. The wind is pretty strong but that's a mixed blessing as it does blow the clouds over faster but making it feel really quite cold.

Nothing to do landwise as it's still much too wet so would cause more damage than would do good so am going to try going for a little walk. Not sure how far I'll get but .........

    Decisions in the garden.....

I planted an albertine on that pear walk. I knew it was dicey and would outgrow the space, but the deision is now move this year or leave till next year. If we leave it will need snipping and confining all year, but give lovely colour somewhere it still looks a bit grim for a month. If we move it will fit better elsewhere and be less of a triffid than next year, but.....wouldn't choose to move anything when it's so wet. ( normallyof course, weather might preclude moving now but...,shrug, you got to go by the day you are gardening in, right?)

ok I need other peeps opinions on this thing.

I dont know how i 'aquired' it;) but its from an old factory..

its some sorting heating temp gauge made by rototherm. the actual face part is approx 7'' across.

how would I word this on the bay?
    what catagory?

would you use words like vintage industrial deco art?

its quite a heavy thing too
