Alex, after you have finished at Alfie's........
Always stuff to do here....I have not swept the yard for weeks as that seems to set off my vision issues....
Not as pretty here as at Alfie's though:) plus, no mabel!0 -
Need to get this fencing sorted for the school to get the surface down pronto. I think 2013 is going to be a busier year for me.
.
Dh has seen a horse he wants to get vetted for him, ruby is coming to stay for a while I think so I can play ' schooling ponies' and I am also thinking very seriously about a small breed native. I like to have a sacrificial pony gelding to keep things on the yard happy, plus, if dh gets the horse he has seen it will need a gelding for company and not to be with the mares. Also, his sibling has had a baby recently and is applying to jobs in gb, so if that comes of dh has graciously said we will get the baby a pony and keep it here for her. I am thinking dartmoor.....not do small a to give me back ache, and...as my inlaws are half pint sized she might never out grow it, rofl.0 -

ah.... now it just so happens that i may have something in the offing that may help.....:o i will get back to you...:D0 -
Ohhhh what has your DH seen?
Well, it's a stallion, and grey. It's my kinda breed, but personally, not my kinda looks, but wouldn't be mine. If its accurately described though would be a nice horse for him.:p. We would almost certainly held him, as no reason from what I can see, to keep entire. I found the perfect horse for me too, but that it's a gelding and I want entire, lol, pref mare really though, for my insurance and having clients here etc. if we ever move I might keep a smaller stallion yard.0 -

Ladies, you are wonderful! Will little mid-calf wellies keep my feet dry, or is your mud and poo deeper than that??? :rotfl::rotfl:"...And if it don't feel good, what are you doing it for?" - Robbie Williams - 'Candy'0 -

We can certainly keep you dry to that depth, there is the ya and the summer field.
ATM the issue is not so much picking it but how the dickens we would get it in, as fields are too wet for either landrover or wheelbarrow.
But, plenty to do. For example, the chicken shed, or the barns, or the actual muck heap, grooming......
