    get them on the bay...

    at the moment whatever I get for things on the bay, I get, whereI thought I might do things in sections with the ranch. it looks as though its going to be like a run through so to speak, if I start doing one wall, I will need to start doing an ajoining wall too,

    Not much then!

    I think you sound realistic in your expectations about a house sale. If it goes quickly, well & good, but there's no point adding stress by setting deadlines etc. You may get fed up with keeping it "nice" though! ;)

    Another weight loser here, now there's a fighting chance of eating less again and doing more physical activities. I've put on 5lb since DD's wedding last July:o:o, but at least I'm still way under my worst weight.

    Not saying what that was! :rotfl:

    I'm confident we could sell quickly, it's whether the price we got would be acceptable :rotfl:That's a bit more important than speed right now. More money = more flexibility with what we do next and where we go. DH likes auction properties (this was one) so we'll have to see. I will probably have to compromise what I want but that's fairly normal in our relationship. We do need an income as well so we might be looking at splitting the money between two houses.

    As for the weight, I shall be brave and say that at my worst I was 14st 2. I'm not near that now, but I've got to the stage where I'm unhappy with it. I've put on half a stone since September due to eating rubbish and the stress at work, and I don't exercise so it's not a good combination. Plus my immune system's through the floor at the moment, I've had a cough and cold for over a month.

    I need a holiday and a change in environment. Can anyone support a non-paying guest for a couple of days who can do animal chores and is willing to shovel sh*t? :rotfl::rotfl:

    I was so tempted :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    But for once resisted my schoolboy humour gene :D

    Moved the chooks today. Waiting for the other hen to come into lay but the Maran is laying two eggs per 3 days so thats not bad and we did manage scrambled eggs and smoked salmon for brekkie.

    Crimbo tree taken down this afternoon after 5 weeks up, hardly any needles shed and deffo the best tree we've ever had. Sold to us straight off the field by a local smallholder, superb!

    CTC, your piccy is blurry but you should have a letter there followed by a 4 digit number which should give the pattern number and prob the date as well (see the RD ref sites)

    Cant make out the backstamp but again the RD ref sites will give you the date range for that backstamp.

    Alex, recomend that you spend a couple of weeks in a winter sun destination and leave your chores behind :)
