I want so ething for twice weekly use, the farm yards are metred, pressure washing twice weekly of an acre of concrete is never going to happen:rotfl::D
Otherwise I would agree! Love the look of a freshly hosed bit of yard.0 -

Gripping a spade & lifting wet soil isn't kind to it, unfortunately. However, it looks like it'll be just a few lumps & bumps & not overall swelling which is good. I kept my leather gloves on throughout which usually helps.
You are being very brave. What's ypur rain forecast? When will it be tested?0 -
Thanks but it's really nothing to do with bravery, LIR.
It's a case of what I can or can't do.
The list of can't dos is long enough so I try to do some things & hope for the best. If I'm lucky - fine. If I'm not then I'm trussed up in bandages for support until the swelling goes down
Footwear is a problem & is one reason why I want to live somewhere I can get about more easily - somewhere with pavements, gutters & less mud
Living where I could wear light clothes & sandals would be great. That's my daydream:)
We could have rain overnight. The springs are still running so we know it works with some water. It's just if it will cope with more.0 -

:o This laptop is so sensitive I didn't even know I'd done it until a message popped up thanking me for reporting it!!:eek: Have undone it (I hope) but just wanted to warn everyone, just in case it causes a problem with the thread.
It'll teach me not to eat big hula hoops when I'm on the laptop:o Sorry

Spam? Nah!
Carp? Probably....
It was the second of many Panto rehearsals tonight. I'm happy with my role, especially as Q. Victoria was small and plump, so there's no way I can go on a diet yet.0 -
Whether or not 2012 turns out to be the wettest year ever recorded, I'll be watching out for those veg that cope well with conditions.
I made the mistake of sowing runner beans direct, the slugs had almost all but the plants that survived were good, so more care earlier might have resulted in a bumper crop.
Rhubarb liked the wet as well while our soft fruit did well too.
After that it was all downhill :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:0 -

I remeber you talking washout the foot wear issue before. I am so impressed by you.
I am doing ok, but now dh is gone till the weekend the wheelbarros feel horrifically heavy over the sodden muck heap. I have a blood blister on my thumb (small gripe I know) that is in the way which ever tools I use. I will probably drain it tonight and put a plaster on it. Dh thinks its funny I cope with my back and legs etc, but a blood blister makes me grumpy:rotfl:0
