No dave, it's dead salmon. ;).

Bear in mind, that's not it. There is the hopper to fit in on the left yet.

Grant do them already, Dave unless you're speaking of a different sort.

No, I meant they are training the people who will fit them now. They may have produced them for a while, but ATM there's no one offering Grant pellet boilers around here, though there's a firm nearer you that might, 'cos they've been in this eco game longer. Dunno how their installation costs will stack up, but they have done work in this area.

I would guess that the fitters have to be adequately trained, not only from Grant's POV, but to get the appropriate certification on the installed product. Also, there are no demo systems up & running near here yet, but there will be soon.

'Tis all a bit noo, but us in the middle yer'll be catchin' up....dreckly! :D
  • Sorry to hear you've been rough, too, alfie. :(

LIR. Will they box the thing in or does it need good ventilation?
Not, you understand, that I know anything about pellet boilers but I've just read the Grant guff & it says so.

Cooked, or better still, smoked salmon surely? :D

You did tell a very good joke, which went straight into all my 'oldies' emails.:rotfl:

Glad to hear you are mending anyway. :) Thought you were a bit quiet! :p

I hope the coldy-fluey people make a swift recovery too. If you are going to have it, better to get it out of the way before Christmas, I reckon. ;)

No plans to box, because I did not expect the gubbings on the right to be so......gubbings ish!

I am going to see how it looks at the end. The area on the top righ is going to be the hub for security and CCTV, but that gap underneath the gubbings on the right I thought of this

Scaled down to fit curly dog it could work I think?

We'll reassess when finished, but I do feel frustration that the brief to keep it discreet fell on deaf ears.

Is this actually inside your house then - not in an outhouse?
I'm not sure discreet & boilers necessarily go well together.
Yes, do check on the ventilation needs. The dog bed would look great but not if a lack of ventilation risks asphyxiating curly & all the 'rates' household

Yep, its in a lean too attached to the house, which is now going to be the back door entrance for non guests and boot wearers. My washing machine, dryer and freezer ( long story, was meant to be a beautiful dresser but......sigh, that's going elsewhere now) are in there too. I think it can be done leaving a fair bit of ventilation. There is a lot at the back. I will talk to them about it later in the week :D

Edit...oh, and there is a flue to go in aswell
