Wood boiler serial episode two
The hopper is now in place, but not connected, but gives a better idea of scale of space needed, (and gaps left for dust bunnies
The window you can just see the edge of on the left is going to have a sink unit underneath it, s those dust bunnies on the extreme left will be out of reach, Nice home for those shrews and mice that get away from the cats once in the house I suppose
And, the first connections started going into the cylinder.
The cylinder was the big, big boo boo, because the dimensions we were given we're not correct, and it's going to be a squeeze to say the least. The photo fro
M that angle doesn't really show how tight it's going to be. But there is a very tight gap between that and the door that should leave enough for boxing in, without protruding over the door frame. It does make a rather tight corridor to this 'extra' back door. I expect that space to be used as a dog place, and the down stairs loo is to the right of that door.
That room was the very large and beautiful utility room, it had TWO sinks, one in each far corner, and what is now a door, was a window, but had been a door in the past.0 -
Well, I can report that the new bill hook is very effective.:D
Having waved it around all morning

I had a very rude thought after reading that:cool::D
Yep choille last night was my cold peaked so to speak... still feeling like poo, but it should ( hopefully) start getting better from now on... had a mega headache/faceache ( no jokes please:D) all morning, so came home and tried to have a nap in a dark room..Work to live= not live to work0 -
Feeling better now ctc?
I am trying to think of ways to wear the puppy dog out this evening, He was not tired enough last night and didn't sleep brilliantly.
He is quite bad at eating supper too, this evening he ate none of his (though did sneak in and lick the big dogs bowls, but they obviously have different food). He eats breakfast and lunch heartily, bout I worry about such a little chap not eating well in the evening and waiting all the time til breakfast.0 -

I can't imagine what that thought was.
Dug up all the dahlias this afternoon and left them to dry out in the poly. I know they're brash, and we have no colour scheme at all with them, but they've been fantastic for the insects this year, and even the rain hasn't affected them much.
Had to harvest most of the remaining sweet peppers, as the plants are starting to rot at the stem junctions. They usually ripen up OK if brought into the house.
Some of the chillies are tougher, and they'll be fine for a while longer.0 -
I miss your dahlia avatar davesnave. I was getting to like dahlias through it.0

lir......... maybe he doesnt want any more ? how old is he? my 11 pups were on 2 meals a day at 9 weeks.
after leaving mei recomended this till they were 5 months old then down to one small, one medium, reducing/building up to once a day.
too full a belly at night can make them restless/hypa.
bit like when they say us 'umans shouldnt eat a heavy meal after a certain evening time.
is he in a LIT room as this often detracts from sleep... a plug in nursery light is good .
its surprising how rich the "special puppy foods" are.
im prob teaching gran to suck eggs here:o
having all my puppies over time was an absolute joy to me0 -

We usually feed four meals til four months and three till six months.
He is on three because that's what his breeder does. Our dogs have two meals a day, so that is our end goal.
His last meal is early though, it was four with the breeder, and just a bit later with me, half four.
He is in a dark room......with me...at night ATM. I don't want to leave him with the others ATM. Big dog is having a phantom and is extremely grumpy. He would be safe in his crate, but not emotionally happy if she started carrying on.
When we all move ipnto the kitchen things will swap about, so then he can move to a more permanant sleeping place, somewhere warm and heated!0 -
