Sorry CTC & others who have the cold bug, hope it goes soon - sounds like it may have peaked CTC. Plenty of rest & hot toddys.

Just ordering the rest of sheeting so we have it all here - only thing is you can't put it on when it's wet as it's dangerous & slidy - could end up decapitating yourself.

The tip on malware is useful as we have a bill plus the round trip of 70 0dd miles. We seem to have had a lot of computer laptop problems lately. Still getting my account dipped by funny company in Florida.

LIR.......... now you know that my brains in overdrive re your "right hand side"....:D

i have 4 folding wood sturdy door style panels in a xxx pattern NOT louvre. they are individual or can be [have been] joined together to make like a folding screen , about 6ft high and 18" wide [each]....any good? painted in a nice color? just thought that would enable easy access/ventilation/mind changeable..;) :D
if you attatched one side to wall then that will stabalise and you can fold back for access ?? just a thought !:) [can take pic if of interest]

Sounds great Alfie.....not sure if I might need to make the doors sliding, as in the end it will be very tight on space.

Well, I can report that the new bill hook is very effective.:D

Having waved it around all morning, I'm now a bit sceptical that some of the cheaper machetes would be up to some of the jobs its done. It's ace at chopping into 2" -3" trunks so that they can be bent over & laid, but of course it should be, as that's it's primary purpose.

There is a problem though, and that's the size of my hands. I have silly children's hands and I can only just grip the handle, so I can't put a glove on, as then my grip's not secure. Might be able to shave the handle down a bit, but a spar hook looks a better bet for me when doing the lighter chopping jobs.
    What a wimp! :o
