Hi All,
nope didnt open the door, hubby opened bedroom window, and basically told him where to go.. ( think he knocked next door then)
Well vintage fair was a total plop..covered the pitch and fuel, but nothing else..
had a vintage 70's blouse marked up at £5, and the woman asked 'what is the best you can do on that' so I said £5:D she put it back, and walked away..
One good thing did come out of it, Had a good chat with a couple who live localish ( who have bought quite a bit of 1940's clothes off me) about organising some vintage things.. with just a few of us selling, maybe some sort of club/co-op etc..
Alfie, surely your Landlord have got to give some sort of written notice about events etc, as surely this is not part of quiet occupation, which most tennants expect? maybe Rozee can give you some legal pointers of being a tennant ( via pm of coarse)
Right off to scoff a large packet of maltesers all to myself:cool::pWork to live= not live to work0 -

It never cleared here, admittedly no rain for a change, but, grim, grey, dank. A neat we didn't mind spending indoors.
Oh.:o It started a bit grey, but it was sunny until dusk.
Now it's raining.
Some nasty stuff on the way next weekend, I believe. I see DW has the fleece ready.
EDIT. Great minds......!!!:rotfl:0 -

Argh, I checked forecast earlier and no nasty weekend weather was there...why do they do this? Have to check again now ( thurs was meant to be grim here)0

i never look at the forecast..... and even if im "told" iv usually forgotten by next day...
i just wing it when i open my eyes in the morning...0 -
it was on countryfile with the weeks forecast..
LOL Alfie.....there would be few swear words mixed in, so if I were on tv as a weather girl It would mostly be all bleeps:D
Piggies seem to be growing by the second:eek::eek:
I must admit over the last few weeks I have tried distancing myself from them:o... in readiness....And at the moment I do feel ok...I should imagine it has helped owning chickens over the years... I know this sounds silly, but you do harden up over time, and dont get too attached to them, Yes you do get the odd one or two which are favourites, but on the whole there is no emotional attachment.
Got to do alot of number crunching in work today...:o:o:oWork to live= not live to work0 -

Just updated the challenge link, CTC, hope you dont mind but I've added up your totals from listings as you seem a bit mythered atm
.
Nice weekend but weather a bit murky and grim here. Watched that programme on global weirding, basically telling us that we will get more weather extremes (snow/floods/drought) + colder winters and wetter summers. Oh joy
We keep P&P costs down by sourcing spare boxes from shops. DW gobsmacked that price stickers show pairs of ladies shoes from one shop start at £150 and head into the high £200s :eek:0
