    Davesnave.. i would def hit the delete button, and say you thought it was spam....;) OR... add up the cost of the classes for a year, and justify not going by saying you could buy X, Y or Z with the money.... and just say you will jogg around the polytunnel a few times a day...

    As i seem on someone's sig.. ( sorry cant remember who it is )

    'Every penny is a prisoner' which i think is very apt at the mo..with trying to watch the pennies

    Thank you ctc, feeling lots better, I just hate that being so minorly ill knocks me out so much. I have the musle tone of a blade of grass today and juist filling hay necpts this morning wiped me out for an hour afterwards, lol and i had a nap while i recovered, panting and aching from such little exertion. Those popor bloody horses. Even their barn is getting wet underfoot now, they must be bored, and there is little i can do. Its not so much the ground, as they can have all the yard to explore, and its not a small yard, but the rain, they really have had enough.

    The station approach was still flooded, but at least we knew that this morning and allowed time to go round the long way so dh got his train. Short week this week thanks to yesterday, that extra night togather really makes so much difference, even if he is working in the day and i am sleeping, we got to snuggle together. Something we noticed when he was sent to brussels is that two nights and leaving in sunday afternoon, which we did for a year a while ago, is so much harder emotionally.

    Took the lr back to the garage to day and told him i was hoping to tow on sunday with it, so fingers crossed it will be back in time, otherwise alfie and i will have to throw dh in the back of her van, lol, the garage gave me the tiniest hatch backi have ever seen as a courtesy car and its amazing, whizzing about in a nippy little vehicle is really liberating. Even if it was just back from town!

    Jojo is funny, she has chosn to nest in the door way of the house, so
    She can still see what is going on out side. Such a character! Yes please to something she can hatch, I understand from reading up on fluffy chickens that having decided to sit she probably means it!

    oooo vibration:cool::D:rotfl:

    Yep

    You need to know where the lintel for that fireplace is and to be sure that it is intact before doing too much more. Whilst the thing is bricked, it will hold up even if the lintel is rusted or cracked; remove the bricks and it could come tumbling down.

    Mind you, looks a bit like our kitchen when x went out and I got a bit enthusiastic with the sledge hammer; we had decided to knock the pantry wall down as it was the only way to make a useable space in a tiny Victorian terrace. Most of it was in the pantry when he got home.

    Amazing! After another inch of rain overnight the sun came out this afternoon. And it was warm! Our library on the news after a tree went thru the roof on Sunday :(

    So washed down inside the GH, fixed the autovents and put in the summer toms. Tomorrow its move the chooks to clear a raised bed and cut and strim the paths. April was such a miserable washout, think the gloom and cold had got to me a bit.

    Really dont know whether apples will set, as the blossom has been so badly rain affected with few bees about. But the goosegogs are growing well, benefitting from the sunny March.

    Had a total and expensive waste of time with Ebay today. They say Jersey is in the UK so Jersey deliveries attract standard UK postal rates, tell that to RM standard parcels. Response so far? Try to get buyer to agree to cancel transaction:eek: So sent goods to buyer instead and will try to get excess postage back off Ebay. Ignorant &+@#S!!. Cust service reps go off standard hymn sheets, even quoting wiki at them had zero effect. Ended with rep agreeing to refer up the line, if I get a rational follow up I will be amazed. Net result? I exclude CI from postage locations from now on :mad:
