LIR - Does the sugar not make your hair sticky?

I used to years ago use green soap that you could buy from a chemist & borax.
I do sometimes rinse my hair with vinegar in the water as it makes it shine.

    Yes please to the photo.

No, it doesn't make my hair sticky, and the lemon juice does much the same as vinegar. I mix it with some conditioner and the brown sugar works like...well, a sugar scrub for the scalp.

Dh bought be a boOk for my birthday about caring for curly hair (my hair has been a bit awkward since moving, and now i relaise its my own fault mainly) and i have been experiemtning with ideas from it.

are you sure you want to strip out the electrics ??? you can always put candles in the bulb fitting ?? they are very difficult to rewire if you change your mind / value...

oooooooooo make space for the ALF creation :rotfl::rotfl: even if its in a cupboard and u have to bring it out when i visit...;)

Clever, clever you with ruby. You will get there i know:D

Yes, want to strip electrics out. L has inspired me! But also, the candle holders on these lights are really ugly, and the electrics are dodgy old italian stuff, so was going to rewire!

Alfie creation will be awesome i know it!

having had long hair nearly all my life [ had it cut when i was 10 by default when my oldest sister said i was "getting my hair done" for her wedding , i looked like just william ! ] then when i was 20 [cos my boss's partner was an award winning famous hairdresser and i thought it would give me something to boast about !....WRONG !! even my dog didnt recognise me and wouldnt let me in the house ...] next "trim " was in 1999 [convinced myself it would be a new start to the new century....WRONG !!...met a sh*t bloke who cleaned me out of my business...] SO my hair stays now until its to my bl**dy knees, grey and like straw....dont care.:D:D

will add i used to henna it in my yoof . and decided, having read it, that i would use eggs as supposed to be good as a conditioner....WRONG !! i looked like a blood stained walking omlette..:( took me forever to untangle and get the dam stuff out.....

I have been washing my hair differently recently, with lemon juice and brown sugar, as recommended for curly hair, my hair really likes it, and while the scratches on fingers smart, i also give my shoulders etc a bit of a scrub with it.

Pleeze lay on ze couch & rrrrrrelax.
Now tell me - when did zis behaviour begin? Around ze 22 Febrrrruary?
So, ...... ze sugarrrrrr & ze juice of lemon on ze hairrrr & rrrrrolling yourself up in ze afterrrnoon to sleep. Zis worries me.
I theenk zere may be ze underlying prrrroblem.......... eet may be ze CrepeSuzette complex, yah? ;)

I did that with the egg Alfie - what a mess. Think you're supposed to use cold water & not cook it with warm.

I once did a blonde henna pack thing from The Body Shop - some one came to the door - which was odd as I lived even more in the middle of nowhere atthat time. And they thought I had a cow pat on my head!

    I haven't been to a hairdressers since 1994......
