Alexelsiey sorry thought i had said, yes i had the seeds thank you:T. havent sown any yet.... maybe one night this week,

Nice to hear from you twiglet:beer: thank you for the comments.... To be honest by focusing on the outside/land it means I am not in the house discovering more major faults:eek:
BUT we are discovering more nasties outside:eek: by the looks of it, he must have used asbestos sheets for the roofs etc... which was covered in growth and other rubbish.. We have found a amenity site that will take it, so will have to get a loads of maskes etc for when i am bagging it up....

    Hmm, it's been a week!

Kids off school, visitor having a domestic crisis, issues about costing build, issues about boundaries...

Nothing yet resolved to our satisfaction, although, thankfully, the lad is back at school tomorrow and the babies start nursery next week. This may give us chance to catch our breath....

    I've been Money Tipped!
Few, one thing the wreck doesn't have a problem with is asbestos. We have some asbestos barn roofing, but intact and decent, not the old crumbling stuff of the wrong colour!

CTC, glad you're feeling positive about getting things done, and that energy levels are higher as well :)

When you're bagging the asbestos pieces keep it damp to avoid dust.

Went to auction Sat, bought a load of carp off Andrew, one lot I cant remember bidding for and damage I missed on first inspection was all too visible when I got home, including a heavily woodworm infested lot. They truly saw me coming!! To cap that I sneezed after standing up for too long at the auction and my back spasmed. So no car boot on Sunday and taking it easy atm.

Anyhow, a challenge for those of you with the knowledge like "Choisy de roi" Alfie, "Limoges" Lir and "Faience" Itsme, please tell me what pottery this / this comes from and do you agree this is a UK WWI womens uniform (photo frame it was in has a late 1916 Rd No, photo has velox on back).

    Me too.

By Itsmehonest's capacity to turn up the info.

and by rhiwfield's capacity to find good stuff that I would not consider (on purely asthestic grounds - I like Amish).

:rotfl: All I do is Google.

The uniform looks very like a FANY officer, rhiw. They existed pre-WW1 but the cap seems more like their WW2 ones than the things they wore in WW1.

I found this photo - the officer signing the chit not the lass with the pudding bowl on her head riding the bike :)
