    evening everyone....

wow...we had a hailstorm, sun, rain, high winds then thunder that literally shook the house !! i thought it was a big farm vehicle going up the road but it was thunder. even the cups were rattling.. scary mary..:(

ive had to put mini's and rubes back in the big field of rough old grass cos FLO was showing signs of lami. as LIR pointed out :o the new short grass is the most dodgy !! i thought there would be enough "bodies" on there to get it down quickly but in this weird weather its doing the opposite and replacing itself rapidly....
will see how she is tomorow ,if not good will have to stable her too and sort out a dry paddock set up for them .

sold my "bits" today and made 100% so happy bunny...

iv got to get a holiday home in beaulieu ready tomorow. lovely couple from scotland coming down for 2 weeks. [owners dont hardly let it often but there are a few people that use it] i just do all the leg work...:D for a fee...:D:D

i used to run a holiday cottage when i lived in beau, i was booked 48 weeks of the year.. shut for 2 weeks decorating/repairs and 2 weeks for my holiday..:) then when i moved i did B&B...i loved it. my breakfasts were legendary...:rotfl: many a grown man said "yes, yes, yes" to the list of items inc. then struggled !!!:D

Oh alfie, its a pain this grass, isn't it. All mine got into the winter field over night ...wretches. Thankfully no pulses when i had caught them. Its no joke though.

    Any progress with Ruby?

I have been looking for candles on line, going to buy a huge load then strip out the electrics from our italian lights.

I need to start looking for some wall lights and table lamps for thr future :).

Make sure you clean it with some lovely shampoo and soap!

I have been washing my hair differently recently, with lemon juice and brown sugar, as recommended for curly hair, my hair really likes it, and while the scratches on fingers smart, i also give my shoulders etc a bit of a scrub with it.

Hmmm, reminds me of yesterdays dinner ;)

Braised leftover chicken pieces with lemon juice, brown sugar, soy sauce, 5 spice and a dash of red wine. Plus delia's "perfect" rice cooked in stock. Gorgeous :)

    I must photo that stirrup.

LIR - Does the sugar not make your hair sticky?

I used to years ago use green soap that you could buy from a chemist & borax.
I do sometimes rinse my hair with vinegar in the water as it makes it shine.

are you sure you want to strip out the electrics ??? you can always put candles in the bulb fitting ?? they are very difficult to rewire if you change your mind / value...

oooooooooo make space for the ALF creation :rotfl::rotfl: even if its in a cupboard and u have to bring it out when i visit...;)
