It comes of having plenty of practice & a mis-spent youth which furnished me with a large supply of general knowledge trivia. It helps to have a lateral way of thinking when it comes to Google :rotfl:

Re double flowered geraniums, they seem hardy as any other, and there are 7 different ones, not 5, as I first said.:o Will do photos eventually, but you can Google them.
Kids next door are about 12, 9 & 8 and don't go to school, because the outside world is evil & scary, though maybe not quite as scary as parents who think like that.
Alf, I don't annoy neighbours, unless they annoy me first in fairly extreme ways. I'm a model of tolerance!
A friend's recently moved house at huge expense, just to get away from his neighbours, but it's a complex operation when land/animals are involved. I think his judgement was clouded, as he's given himself years of extra work & expense.
After being rear-ended 5 times in the noughties, I can't think of a better investment than a tow bar. We have a tow bar + integral step on the van, made of solid steel and painted yellow, which sticks out about a foot. No one runs into that!!!

Just managed to get all the wood rescued from the pig sties under cover before some really useful heavy rain tonight.0 -

Ok, here is a question on lawn mowers! Are we mad to be hoping to my a used sit on? Is there a make that is more reliable than others? It will be for garden, but in the past i used to top areas of weeds in fields with a ride on too....and see that happening again.0 -

....And I'd like to know what's best for rough areas of grass. We haven't a lot, but we're thinking of just opening up the orchard to sheep (with tree protection in place) to avoid the issue altogether, rather than splash out on something expensive and not much used.
My 'free' ride-on remains immobile. I can't blame the person who donated it for losing interest, as fixing it might be impossible. He may have a look now the weather is warmer..... or I can always stick it on eBay.
Meanwhile, I have ordered new bolts for the 'self propelled' push mower.....:)0 -
