Cheers guys, just some bad news and lots of little things going wrong. And more worryingly, a recurrence of illness of someone close that we thought had been stabilized. Ah well, nothing to be alarmed about, just a bit down atm.0

Rummer, what do you do with the wool when it is spun, do you knit?
Ctc, your vintage stuff, do you ebay it too? Is any of the work stuff likely to be of interest to any of us?
I am trying to do a wardrobe sort out. Considering i mainly wear one pf a couple of tracksuits its pandamonium with clothes, i have stuff hanging that doesn't fit and other stuff hanging that does fit but i never get to wear, lol.
I am going to phone up about my car tomorrow, i want speed back so dh can catch ruby for alfie and i can have a play...though in the long wheel base i have from the garage i would be able to squeeze a mini or tw in to keep on top of my grass. I have had the gate open and five horses, full sized horses, on the back garden for three days. All was fine till today when one started chomping on the vines in pots. Grr.0 -
Trailers: does anyone have any advice? We're thinking that we're going to need one long term to cart stuff around but would like to avoid buying something that will be patently unsuitable.
OH bought a wheelbarrow last week. Unresearched purchase. It's plastic, pale purple and he's already seen it £6 cheaper elsewhere and is wishing he'd bought a metal one...
We have different buying styles. I'll buy almost anything if its a bargain (cheap or free)! If it's expensive I'll put off buying it forever. He'll usually not buy anything, but when he does, because he's lacking in consumer practice, it's rarely thought through... We really need a better strategy.0 -

Don't regret the wheelbarrow. Imo you can never have too many. I have a hugely expensive two wheeled one that gets used a lot, but is too heavy when full of lots of things for me. Our metal ones are my least faborite, but i hate the very very lightweight plastic. The heavier single wheel pastic are good general jobbies.
You will be glad of it.
We need a trailer too.0 -
I generally only buy something when I've researched it carefully and then again, I don't usually hold back on buying a good or expensive one if I think it will do a good job.
But I do often have to stop and think if I really need it.
Very rarely do I regret buying a good tool, but I frequently regret buying a cheap one........ and still I sometimes do it. But then you do have to look after them.
Trailers I have little experience with, but it depends how often you would use it and what you think you need to carry on it. Can you fit it in somewhere safely and can you keep it safe from thieves?Freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes.0 -

Alfie you are lovely! If I am honest I have no personal experience of choosing a fleece but this site has some advice in sheep speak
Lostinrates when I spin up the fibre I then crochet it into lots of different things. I would love to be able to knit properly but I am very slowTaking responsibility one penny at a time!0
