    You did mention re-aligning the aerial yourself, so if you can do that surely you could move it to the front where it could point to your local TX four miles away?

    You do have the Humax directly connected to the aerial feed don't you? No other equipment connected?

    Hmm... I don't have a ladder, and no way would I be confident realigning an aerial. I would very much doubt I could actually unfix it and fix it on again!

    Yes, the Humax goes directly into the aerial socket.

    So... looks like the choice is:

    1. spend £15 on an antiference thingy and see if it works
    2. spend a whole lot of cash on getting the aerial taken down and put up again at the front

    I would try this option first from a retailer that you can take it back to if it doesn't work ;)
