Hi Thenudeone - can you check the upload - it appear to be a screenshot of a web page rather than the forms.

Does anyone else have the original application forms as a PDF for this ISA?

    Thanks

Yes, I do. I've only ever downloaded a picture once on here, do you do the same for pdf, because I've just gone to download the file and the only options I'm given for file type are image, video and url (nothing for pdf). Sorry, not techie, if you tell me how to do it, I'll try.

    Sorry.

When I uploaded it to mediafire, the link they gave me was supposed to be for both files, but only one appears now.

I won't re-do it now, because someone else has already posted another link.

I think I'll ask mediafire for my money back:rotfl:

I was just about to rush this through (after seeing the deadline was Monday for accepting applications), but I'm not quite sure I like the 99day transfer notice. It might be a killer when seeing a good deal, and you want to switch. For that reason holding out.

Posted on Friday, debited from debit card on Wednesday. I haven't received details in the post yet.
  • Posted transfer request on Thursday (23rd). Today I received a confirmation letter from National Counties dated 24th February.

Also received today was a letter from my previous ISA provider dated 29th February, confirming that the transfer has already been completed.

Yep my previous ISA has been transferred also on 29th :T:beer:

I thought the transfer cheque was supposed to be transported by stagecoach from Newcastle (in my case) to Epsom after several overnight stops and with a couple of further delays for changes of horse. Clearly not.

It is showing when I log onto National Counties as an incoming payment on 29th, and when I log into my previous ISA it shows as an outgoing payment on 29th.

At work today I checked both my Santander and Halifax ISA's - both disappeared. And when I got back I had a letter from Santander saying they had closed my account and transferred the sum of £xyz.

I also had two letters from NCBS to say they have requested the transfers.

So it seems like good work from all three of them! But still no account opening paperwork or account number???

Worth reading this, they are accepting applications until Monday 5th March.

Fantastic news Snowman, I sent mine off early on the 1st, so crossing fingers they should receive it on the 5th! :)

    Hi all,

Need some help as the NCBS offices are closed ;) I filled out the following transfer form, thinking this would be sufficient to open an account: ahh, I can't post links. If you paste this into a browser it should work: dl.dropbox.com/u/273709/forums/moneysavingexpert/Transfer-form-approved-CV362-updated-180311.pdf

Apparently not quite. Received a letter today, to which I have to reply and get it there by Monday 5th (so hopefully if I take it to the post office today the collection will get it there.... hopefully). Letter reads:
Thank you for your recent request to open an ISA with the Society.

In order for the Society to open this account for you, we will require a completed application form. I have enclosed the relevant form for your completion together with a pre-paid envelope for your reply. Upon receipt of the signed document, and subject to satisfactory identification checks, your transfer from your existing ISA provider will be initiated.

Please note, applications will be accepted until Monday 5th March, any application received after this date will not be accepted.
So, the confusing bit. Someone has used a highlighter to mark on the form "PLEASE COMPLETE OVERLEAF, SIGNING AND DATING THE CONSENT AND CONFIRMATION SECTION". I turn over and they've highlighted as you can see in this scan (scan didn't show the highlight so I did it with paint): again, pasting this into a browser should display it: dl.dropbox.com/u/273709/forums/moneysavingexpert/ncbs-app-back.jpg

The thing is, is that 1.1a seems to be referring to enclosing/transferring a sum of money from *an existing NCBS account* in order to open an ISA. I don't have one, so I can't fill that out.

    1.1b seems more applicable?
