CY Congrats on being mortgage free, that's terrific :T

Happy Birthday to the Birthday girls this week xx

Bonnie - No, much to littley's disgust, we were primed and ready at 8.45 then on for an hour trying to get them and I was simultaeneously on the phone but couldn't get through and the website was too busy, I've told her they'll probs add more dates, don't know if any of her mates managed to get any yet. Glad your DD's mate got some and I can just imagine the screams :D

Been and dropped littley off at her nanas, she'll console herself with a trip to the metro centre lol Been down town and paid in my car tax refund which came this morning and some cash, and that's pretty much it.

Edit:- Mrs c - aww poor lad, bet he's gutted.

Just popping my head round to say thank you for all the Birthday wishes. It was my 30th and to be honest i thought it would just go by but i came back from an appointment to find the house full of balloons/banners/cake and champers. I was totally spoilt with pressies which left me speechless (that never happens).:rotfl:

Things have been really busy here and it seems thats the way it will be for awhile. Loads of work going on in the house as well as loads of flying/decluttering. Things are finally moving again...

I hope everyone is well as i haven't had a chance to get on and catch up for ages and i probably won't be on again for awhile. So love, hugs and spoons..xxx

Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

    Morning All

Valli - had you been drinking?
I had had a little snifter and haven't got a sore head - just fast, but inaccurate typing as I use 3 fingers so sometimes the letters get hit in the wrong order.

I was also checkig e bay sales (have been and posted already) and the bank. Very amused at the bank as my wages have been paid in twice, apparently. Also some of my spending has been deducted twice yet the balance was intriguing...because that reflected the debits but not all the credits.
Took a screenshot (and I think I started a thread LOL) - so just going to see what it looks like now.
Loads of wasing on the line:D:D:D:D

    sorry for typos

Bank account back to normal - glad i took a screenshot though!

OOh I have my own sticky post on a board! *glows*

Valli - I do that all the time with typing, I can (mostly) spell but my hands don't respond in order and I get bored of re-typing. Those who I speak to on Facebook chat will know this well!
Vanilla - good to see you posting, I thought you had been quiet lately

I have cracked on with the back hall. Pointless having this potentially lovely kitchen and then such a bad first impression as people come in through the back door. Lots of things that should have gone ages ago, age 1-3 hats spring to mind, DS2 is 7. Stripped everything out, ruthless sorting and now scrubbing down the walls before I put the essentials back.

DS1 won't be in a good mood today. He had started to work part-time on the market and lost his job after only two days because the stall holder was caught selling stolen goods, leaving both DS1 and his friend without a job. :(
:( Really sorry to hear this; but perhaps better to be without the job now, than to later be dragged into selling stolen goods without knowing it, iyswim. Hopefully he and his friend can find another job with a trustworthy employer.

  • My garden looks terrible! I've been sorting out the shed, and have dumped a whole lot of rubbish out on the garden. But, I've arranged for a "man with a van" to come on Monday to clear it all.

Then, I can rearrange the shed, make room for all my food bulk buys, and restore a bit of order. It's been a tip for ages - used to be DH's glory hole!

I've been mainly in the garden. Ok so I've been completely in the garden since lunch. Vine Weevils are evil little bugs.

Kids getting used to having no [STRIKE]dire[/STRIKE]kids channels as I've downgraded our package to save £20 a month.

Winchelsea, well done on the shed, cracking eggs and omelettes and all the jazz

Vanilla glad you were spoilt, if any body deserves to be it's you

MrsChaos good luck on the career planning. A narrow escape there by DS1

Need to get DS3 and his friend back from the park to clear up the stuff in the garden before friend goes home. Then DS3 and DS2 are both having early baths whilst I cook dinner.
