    Morning all

Happy Birthday Hex :) Hope it's a good one.

Washing out on the line, it felt damp in the air earlier but not so bad now so I'm going to leave it out for now.

    Vacuumed through downstairs and dusted.

Went out for a walk, went a bit further but still took the same time. Either I'm getting faster or it's not actually much further than before.......but it must be:think:

Bonus was I got to have a kiss from a black labrador and a cuddle from a bulldog.

Happy belated birthday aj - sorry I'm late; I didn't get time to post on MSE yesterday, as Mr LW was wfh.:o
been out swept the road and bought the compst bags back in:mad: looked like the guys had tried to load them on the lorry with a catapult, there was blackberry bramble and woodchip all over the road. id put the bark chip in the compost bag from when i clean the tortoise out. ive got 1/3 of a bag again for them next fortnight now ive swept.
I'd be emailing the council to complain, if that was me - you shouldn't have to do all that cleaning up behind them and half-fill your bins with their spillage.

I just need to throw a duster and the duster-onna-stick round the bedroom and spare room today, then we're done for this week.:T Start again tomorrow with the tasks I need Mr LW's assistance with.;)

i might just do that LW its not the first time its happened, on windy days the bags end up blown to either end of the street as they just fling them towards your house- they are big green canvas type bags so we are contantly taking each others bags 'back home' if people remember to number them that is if not the amount you have just fluctuates till you hear soemones a bag short.
would it be so hard to hook them on a fence post?

    Any thoughts?

How old is she Jue? Do they usually just let the kids out? Depending on what is the norm will help to establish what is expected of your DD. I think I'd go on the tact of how the other child felt not knowing who would be picking her up.

    Good Morning
now have 2 weeks to name the school that we want him to go to. Thanks for your support. It has taken a year to get to this stage.

I hope there is a school you are happy to name and that things start to get back on track.

Kaz thanks for the heads up on ebay

Really cross that boiler eng who was due here at 8am did not turn up or phone. Do these people not consider others have commitments? We had all got up an hour early to shower, DH had to go into work late, I had a governor meeting and still no word.

    Many happy returns, Hex.

I'm flying but a bit off list today. Had arranged to take the tots swimming with mil, but she turned up with fil in tow, so I took the opportunity to ask them to take the kiddies while I stayed home!

Littlest tot was up in the night with tummy grumbles, so not feeling 100% today. She is fine now though...

So they are gone swimming then to lunch in the cafe. I have put all the toys back in the conservatory, hoovered up all the oats from their cereal bar snack (they'll be late lunching and get very grumpy when hungry...) and I've eaten that frog that was cleaning the filthy rug!

I gave it a really good vac, then got the star drops on all the grubby spots that have had milk and goodness know what rubbed in, and it looks almost habitable!

I also rang the inland revenue about my tax code, on hold for 25min but finally got through to the tax fairy and I think he has solved my problem. Well, he's going to fix my tax code anyway. Somehow I ended up with a negative tax allowance???

Now just having a HHM before I go and tackle upstairs. But, kitchen is clean (shiny sink included) and I have decluttered my tax allowance, and eaten a dirty frog. So I'm happy with my productive week, on top of the laundry and reasonably clean. Until the tots come home...

The very best of weekends to you all
    X

Have had a bath while OH was on work calls, he's called the GP who is issuing another prescription in ace I don't show signs of improvement tomorrow, and he has remade my bed with clean sheets. He has now gone off out to lunch with a friend, as I didn't want to cancel either the friend or the pub at the last minute. I'm cross though, it's my favourite pub! On the way back he will do the shopping and collect the prescription.

Bath made me feel MUCH better. As does having someone around. Have managed to chuck some stuff in the SC for chicken stock and had a couple of spoonfuls with some sweetcorn for lunch, so will see what my body makes of that! Making the most of the couple of hours after pills and slowly unloading the DW and contemplating sorting some washing. No point trying to sleep, it's too stressful!

Windows are all open, and the fresh air is lovely. Just frustrating not to be able to be out in it. Need to chase u about the apple tree, as it should have been pruned by now. Like you, Dusty, I find it infuriating that people don't think they need to bother letting you know when plans change. It's so disrespectful, making it clear that your time is so much less valuable than theirs.

Not so bad. Tailed off a bit today as I had to write up all my jobsearch stuff for my JC appointment later - printer decided not to work so can't print my spreadsheet  I'm sure it's smirking at me it knows I get anxious before these appointments. It has been called a few choice names I can tell you

OT but if anyone didn't catch Dispatches on Channel 4 last night re ticketing scams by 'fan to fan' ticket sale websites then I recommend you watch on catch up if you have time. Disgraceful. I really hope things change after this exposure.

Off soap box and onto the train for me :p

    Have a good afternoon all!!
